I'm with you Kaboose, the Senate is no better. I'm all for throwing the bums out, just needs to include the Senate, the President and his whole cabinet along with the House.

I also think this poll reflects the general publics inability to think for themselves, too many people just buying the media's bias. I'm tired of trying to pick the lesser of two evils, it's still ALL EVIL. Until a third party emerges nothing changes in this country.

The Senate is a major part of the problem here. They need to be tossed out.I posted my plan back on page 2: Vote them out,ban lobbyists and disband both parties, eliminate corporate backers.

even if they were all fired, the system is so screwed up that even the new guys would probably be just as bad

Jesse Ventura said we should vote them all out and vote for all independent candidates. I agree with that! It would surely send a loud signal to Washington that they no longer have the minds of American voters. I don't care if you're a life long democrat or republican, it's time to kick all these self-serving politicians out of office. It's time to get representatives in there that don't have any affiliation to either party, have their own political views and are not forced to follow a party platform. It would be a major win for the citizens of the U.S..

Not only would it send a loud message to Washington, it would be prime time viewing to watch the shock on the face of every republican and democratic representative as they're interviewed by the national media. It would probably get the highest TV viewing ratings for the entire year. lol

I don't think we should light 60% of congress on fire. The stench alone from burning poo would-. . . . oh.

Sorry.

I read it wrong.

The 60% of people that want to light the entirety of congress on fire may appear to be extreme and they should perhaps reconsider because of the carbon footpri-. . . . . oh.

I read it wrong again.

(dangit!)

Can we give them all 2nd degree burns and make them wear itchy shirts?

If you do that their straw might catch on fire.

Not like they have any brains.......

I think they should indeed all be fired. Loaded up into a rocket and fired directly into the sun. It is the only way we can begin to fix things. If we can fix them at all...

Maybe we should ask them "are you your brothers keeper". Followed by are you initiated, passed or raised? Then what does "annuit coeptis" and "Novus Ordo Seclorum" mean. What does the pyramid on the one dollar bill symbolise with the eye of providence on the capstone, or is it the all seeing eye of lucifer, the great architect of the third dimension?

For extra credit maybe we can ask them what does "ordo ab chao" mean. Why do we need order from chaos? Is the usa the great whore of babylon?

If they pass the test we will fail them their congressional initiation.

Watch how many of these current office holders get reelected. My bet is the majority.

Yea but when it comes time to vote, you guys always vote for the same crap. Remember how heated things got on even ATS last year? A major clash between the Obama and Romney turds. If even a majority of ATS members can't get themselves out of the game of the establishment, how can you expect the average joe to do it?

Lead by example.

Its hard to discuss small parties that like to hide themselves or simply dont care enough to become mainstream. Its pretty straight-forward knock on doors to collect enough signatures to be included in the state ballot come election time. AFAIK only libertarians have gone through the motions, constitution party, justice party, green party, are only listed on about 15 state ballots which guarantees failure. I still vote "third party" regardless but I know its a wasted vote.

Romney and Obama were in the spotlight and that is what people discussed. Looking back I think romney was a better candidate eventhough he was a wall street man involved in shady business practice. Almost any republican is better than any democrat. And Ron Paul was light-years better than Mitt Romney, but romney cheated his way to the republican nomination.

I am being as honest as I can with you. I was always a progressive till I realised what an unbelievable scam socialism is. Liberalism is simply a step before socialism, taking money from the middle class and distributing it to the poor. At least with real socialism everyone is equally poor and equally lazy, and if you are not an obedient slave to the government, you go to prison for many years. With liberalism the rich become obscenely wealthy and hide their intentions behind the facade of democracy.

Mr. Carter, why should I trust this survey?

What is the study size?

What are the demographics of the survey takers?

Who funded the survey?

Who funds who funded the survey?

It is all about control and insecurity, I watch people argue the same point over and over again, I watch people deny facts and switch gears in the middle of a debate,

Anything, anything to be right because being wrong would be devastating to them, why?

Fear

So. Whats wrong with leaving the middle classes out of it entirely, and only removing funds from those who do not need it at all, to pay those who have desperate need.

There were plenty of republican hacks when bush jr was president. Everything was blamed on the republicans back then. Today its mostly democrat hacks defending Obama as republicans put all the blame on democrats.

The more things change, the more they reamain the same.

Its hard to have both volume and quality at the same time. I find myself repeating trade deficits, bailouts, outsourcing, automation, liberalism versus socialism, etc with few open minds.

Its not about fear, its about getting paid to push an agenda but using the shill word is not tolerated here. What else can you call these folks? Extremely obtuse, extremely bored, something else? In the 9-11 forumn we see the same people arguing for years WITHOUT BUGDING AN INCH. Heck I have changed my mind over the years about a few topics, if even mildely.

HI EC, I have changed so much over the years, I came to this forum trusting my government for the most part, I sorta felt sorry for Bush but I stayed out of it, I thought he was getting a bad rap, but now in retrospect, I see him in a different light.

I don't want to have anything to do with either side at this point, even though I think some are worse than others.

I want them all out, but I think it is to late, and I think they are bat poo crazy.

There is something seriously wrong with them, are they drugging them or something?

I used to think democrats were better than republicans up till about a year ago. I was always left wing, but reading about the new world order and liberalism made me drastically reconsider everything and now I think republicans are better than democrats.

Not because socialism in theory is wrong, but because in practice it never materialises. The people at the top will control it, sabotage it by UN sanctions, then declare war on it. Look at north korea and cuba for perfect examples. Then people become zombies to the country and the leaders. Its good if you're lazy but that is about it.

We need conservatism in america to encourage job growth, we need some isolationism in relation to the middle east, we need to develop our oil and gas wells to become more energy sufficient, we need less enviromental laws, a smaller government to cut down on wasteful spending, less intrusiveness.

This is just the beginning. Loose lips sink ships. I remember reading about serpent people in the southwest. How long are they going to hide the reptillian agenda?
