I don't think/believe it matters who is the president with the amount of debt.
Except for starting stuff like wars, maybe..
They all got advisors, telling him what's the best thing to do, speechewriters telling him what to say.
It's the same for Obama as it was with Bush or Clinton.
Their agenda's are full with meetings in the country and overseas, advisers who say what must be done or not.
It's basicly like you get the job and you are being played with what to think and what to say.
That's the problem also with this whole debt ceiling/government shutdown. The president basicly doesn't have time or real knowlegde himself about what
to do or how to fix it.
But yea the president is seen as some kind of leader, but are they really.
They are more like a voice, not really the presidents words IMO. Just words of the powers.
