You didn't revive it, I'm not whining at you. But different antibiotics work differently. Hydrogen peroxide just basically kills whatever it comes into contact with. That's why it slows down healing, and why they use alternative antibiotic ointments today. Don't get me wrong, hydrogen peroxide is great, and I still use it on cuts that aren't very deep, but going as far as to drink it is simply ingesting a poison. It's great as a mouthwash, too, as you said. Helps keep teeth white, you can clean with it, hell, you can bleach your hair (though it's usually 15% rather than the 3% you get in the bottle).

For Morgellons... I really couldn't tell you. I looked into it, and read studies, and all I really got out of it was "Well, we think it could be something, or it could be existing disorders combined with delusions, but hell if we know." There's research being conducted for it now, so I guess our best bet is to wait. The interesting thing to me is the fibers. It's seen as more plausible that the fibers are from external sources (clothing, whatever?), but patients commonly believe that they're growing out of the body... Again, the fibers are really what I would focus on, since they're basically the only tangible part of Morgellons.

I'm still very early on in my medical studies. I'm sort of lucky - I just realized that Vitaly Citovsky, a board member of the Morgellons Research Foundation, is a professor at my university and is leading some research on Morgellons. Since I'm working on biomedical engineering with a specialization in cellular and molecular bioengineering (though I'm also considering bioelectricity), I might be able to at least get an audience with him. Once I improve my cellular and molecular biology background, I could look into doing some undergraduate research myself. We'll see, don't get your (my ) hopes up.

And I'm still comparably weak in genetics. I just know the basics of how it works, and how it influences the body on the cellular level, pretty well. Genetic engineering is another one of my interests, along with drug delivery. Just keep in mind that I was an aspiring electrical engineer until about a half a year ago, so I'm talking out of my ass.

And sorry if I seemed attacking or something, I just see so much pseudo-science coming from people who go on and on without any evidence for any BS theory they come up with. But it's all good, because by explaining the real science, I understand it better myself. As time goes on (as long as years...), I may make some threads relating to certain areas of study, explaining scientific basics. I just need to know what... so whenever you're bored, or curious, or whatever, ask away. Maybe it'll inspire a long, boring, scientific thread six people look at. But I'll have a good time.

Excuse me while I run and puke ! Yes, I had it forced down my throat as a little girl. I can still remember how it tastes, but as to the benefits, that I do *not* remember. Mom used it on us quite often, but I was so focused on the aweful taste, I never thought to take mental notes. Did I mention that stuff was DISGUSTING?!!

But isn't this what the Germans are doing and claiming it a miracle cure.

I highly doubt it. This is very, very dangerous and deaths from this have been reported. It's like injecting yourself with acid. The bloodstream is the worst possible place for hydrogen peroxide, aside from directly inside of a healthy organ. Maybe we could work on drug delivery, like with localizing chemo.

I enjoy reading your posts. The only way to learn and understand things is to ask and listen. I am a victim to this morgellions (I believe) but I don't have the sores, so I am not pulling strands out of my skin. The tiny micro circular things are what I need to find out how to rid of them. They have invaded my eyes and there is much more to tell on that part. I believe this to be an evil act from the "bad guys" ( NWO, Illuminati, etc...), and these things were designed by a nanotech, govt, mad scientist. There is no telling what all they mixed in together, but I do know you can't destroy them, burn, cut( you cut one of them they just triple), they embed into wood, glass, mirrors, clothes, cars, anything shiny.... Would you mind if I U2U one day soon and explain a few things about these microfilariae (?). I need to tell someone about them that will take me seriously and not think I'm a lunatic. ( I promise I'm not nutty, YET) Thanks for replying.

I knew a guy around fifteen years ago that was doing this. He was using a stronger salution, I believe it was 16 percent. You dont drink it directly. He started off with one drop in water then i believe over time it was no more than 5 drops per 12 ounces of water.

Now let me tell you. It did not do him any good at all. First of all he was a drinker and a smoker. He did not notice any change what so ever. i personally would not try it. Sounds like a bad idea. Your body doesnt get oxygen from your stomach, It gets it through the lungs and to your blood. So i see no point ingesting it.

If I'd known I would have been more careful in my description of the disease. U2U me with anything, sure.

Their are others out there that also will drink bleach in the right doses or amounts to clear the system of any invaders, their blood work is impecable but the risks are high.

My great grandfather used to clear his nasal passages with ammonia.


He died because his esophagus wouldn't stop bleeding as a result.

i use hydrogen peroxide as mouthwash ( diluted with 50% water ) when im out of listerine. try taking two teaspoon fulls of vinegar once a day. it is good for you and natural, and it wont kill you.

vinegar is good for cleaning out the stomach, good if you have a hangover or a cold.........the list goes on and on. ive used vinegar mainly for hangovers, works well for me. .....sorry im off topic.

NO H2O2,PERIOD. not to drink anyway.

Don't they use that H202 in teeth whitener applications. I seem to remember my sisters used H202 to bleach there freakin hair way back when.

I would not drink the stuff. Get oxygen from a medical device store by doctors orders and inhale when feeling tired.

Back before the advent of antibiotics doctors used H2O2 to fight infection. It is very effective. In stronger solutions (35%) it is also very caustic.

I have used HP for a number of things. I use the 35% food grade quality because the 3% found in grocery stores is toxic with additives. I only use it in diluted amounts and only occasionally. In larger or more frequent doses it can damage the thyroid. All things in moderation.

My son-in-law once was bitten by a fiddleback spider on his upper arm. In the time it took to walk back to the bathroom his arm was already swelling up and the red area had increased greatly. I applied full strength 35% HP with a q-tip to the bite area, let it set for 6 SECONDS, then rinsed it off. The swelling went down immediately and all that could be discerned of the poisonous spider bite was the puncture marks made by the spider. He didn't even flinch when I applied the HP, although I think he would have been fairly squirming if I left it on any longer than 6 seconds.

We have a cutting edge clinic here in Oklahoma called the Genesis Research something or other (clinic? institute?). Anyway, they inject HP into the veins of those diagnosed with advanced atherosclerotic plaque. It dissolves the plaque and saves the patient from having to have angioplasty. They have a very good success rate and a lower mortality rate than those receiving angioplasty. It's given via a slow intravenous drip.

When I first started using it, I put 1 drop in 8 oz. water and drank it. The next day I increased the amount to 2 drops, 3rd day 3 drops and so on until I got to a "peak" for my body which seemed to be about 8 drops in 8 oz. water. My energy level soared but tapered off after about 3-4 weeks. I quit using it at that point but still go back to that regimine when I get too run down (from being too busy to properly take care of myself).

If used properly, HP can be a very helpful addition to the medicine chest. Like with all substances one puts into one's body, prudence and knowledge are the key.

Under no circumstances should anyone ever drink the 3% HP found in drug stores/grocery stores. It is NOT for internal use at all, EVER. If you do ingest it, call the poison control center while you still can. Don't be afraid of Food Grade quality H2O2, just educate yourself.

Mirrorsparadise, you are correct. My wife worked in a vet clinic, and hydrogen peroxide would be used to induce vomiting in dogs.

Interestingly enough, the website that says it is a poison says "do not induce vomiting". IT DOES THAT ON IT'S OWN!

If you are really curious, try it and see. Most "therapies" have you take miniscule amounts, diluted in water. As always, do research into the matter.
