Im not recongnized as white, yet I am of caucasian descent.

Many 'white' people have told me over time, that I'm 'whiter' than them.

I just dont get this black or white thing about america. From an extraterrestrial perspective, our particular visible light range is arbitraty.... to say the least!!

When I am asked to state my race on anything I simply select "other".

That way I am able to fill the blank with "human".

If you are black you are rainbow colored. Because black means it is absorbing all the colors. White means reflecting all the colors, so if you are white you are black.

My eldest daughter has white skin like myself and her father.
Her former partner has black skin like his mother and father.
If you ask me "what" that make's the child they had together........the only answer I have for you is a cherished little grandson whose colour of his skin doesn't define him as an "anything" by the family who adore and love him.

Since no one knows for sure what their racial make-up truly is, I think your description is the only correct one.

My father:
His father - Mother "refused" to reveal. Even when threaten with bodily harm; secret died with her.
His mother's mother was a slave.

My mother:
Her father's father- mother was Jewish, his father was Irish.
Her mother was a native American (from a reservation in South Arizona)

So you see my siblings and I can only be classified as human.

Well in all fairness none of us are actually black or white. We are all mineral colored Some tan some beige some brown some dark brown some peachy some pink but narry a true black or true white as defined by crayola the crayon people. The darkest person I ever saw was a man from Africa who was nearly black but still just a very very dark brown. I never seen a white person. The lightest person I ever saw was a pale beige but not snowy white. Nearly white but not quite. Me? I am Greenish beige of the Italian persuasion. ALSO KNOWN AS OLIVE SKINED BUT NOT NEARLY THAT GREEN. I also have european blood (Welsh) which makes me a little lighter than the average Mediterranean.
