Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee Mentions Martial Law

I REALLY hope she is just going off her rocker....I guess we should all pay attention to what others are saying when speaking out.

Folks need to keep an eye on what other socialists are saying. If.. IF another Congressman/ Senator invokes “martial law” during their floor tantrum then Lee’s comment is not an accident and we have trouble coming. Stay vigilant but please don’t panic over this you know they always do or say things in the hopes of starting real trouble. Let’s NOT give them what they want!

If Sheila Jackson Lee has the balls to say this then she may know something we don’t and this is just the beginning. No one in Congress has ever suggested let alone used those words, martial law, up until now. Either she is out of her mind, which is highly plausible and most likely here, or she just let the cat out of the bag!

I convinced they *discuss* things like this in private.

But the weaker ones (like Her) *always* get the lump in their throats.

With unstable Obama in charge, we truly are in a very very dangerous position as a nation.

With these nuts running things, it's *anything goes* to get their way.

The entire Obama Administration is based on grudges and jealousy.

It wasn't out of context and that's what is worrisome. She said, "We have martial law" meaning it is already in place and that was her basis for saying the bill can be put on/voted on within minutes. She also said her colleagues knew what it meant, re the process under martial law.

You really should amend your OP with what she is actually talking about. Most members here will probably catch it immediately, but some won't.

This has nothing to do with what some will think she is referring to. I'm no fan of this crazy woman, but she is not suggesting putting the National Guard on the streets. It's just a procedural thing.

I had NO CLUE myself...that's why I posted it...hoping SOMEONE could explain her statement. I immediately thought she was talking about Martial Law (putting armed men on the streets, lol) and I still think the crazy lady might have meant that...but see now there is also a plausible explanation for her using the term. I will edit my original post.

They call it a "national state of emergency" but legally speaking it's identical to martial law in everything but name. Using deceptive "politically correct" terminology is simply a ruse to mask its true intent.
