I saw 4 of these on 09/19/2013 at 7:45 pm Eastern over a reservoir. Couldn't get photos because of darkness, so I tried a video and got this.

I believe this to be the coast guard searching for a lost canoe pilot.

My dad saw the helicopters searching and said they looked weird. That they had a really high powered light.

He lives across the bay from Blaine.

Looks like they were using flares for the search, That would explain the "orbs"
