well, I can't help but think about the nukes that went into SC.

Lindsey Graham talked about it here.

Senator Lindsey Graham has warned South Carolinians about the threat of a ‘terrorist nuclear attack’ on the same day that our exclusive high level military intel revealed to us that nuclear warheads were being shipped to South Carolina from a major Texas airforce base under an ‘off the record’ black ops transfer.

The Killshot was created by Ed Dames. Everything this guy has said is proved false again and again. They call him Dr. Doom for a reason. Ignore him. Think for yourself. I cant stand doomsday people. All they do is worry about the end of the world. Who cares? If the world ends you will die and be born in a new life, probably better than this one. Get over it and enjoy life.

Your right. What happens happens. Believe me, I don't wake up thinking, "gee, the worlds going to end today" besides, I really don't want to be one of the "rebuilders".

As far as this guy being wrong, I didn't get that from his writings. It seems The concept works. The Russians and the US used it. Not real accurate but accurate enough that studies continue.

Obviously we are looking weak enough for Baby Boy Un to threaten again

Ignorant imperialist pawn, the Peerless Leader's surname, like that of the Dear Leader and the Great Leader before him, is Kim. His given name (long may it ring in the mouths of the People!) is Jong-un.

For all those who use such rhetoric as.."The USA would Obliterate NK, The USA would destroy NK and such," ..
One Word...VIETNAM.

The May Carpet bomb the country until it resembles the Lunar surface....destroy the People and their will....Never.

You do know Militarily we had Vietnam on the ropes. Politically was a different story. A well known General who was in charge of the Norths forces after the war even admitted we had them, but our politicians lost support and pulled them out.

And the S koreans would be the ones invading th enorth if anything happened. the US would provide support. And China would have less a issue with the south than with the US.

it's been posted before... and now again.

StormCloudsGathering YT Video that doesn't want to be embedded

meanwhile, China is making rounds to make friends with the countries we have tried to pull away from them.

timesofindia.indiatimes.com...

Smart move... because we aren't in a position to go around making deals apparently....If we can't even come up with a budget plan. Very smooth move.

And now who is it that REALLY wants us to avoid default since it's obviously not many members of our government?
Well China has a pretty serious tone according this this article.

www.dailymail.co.uk... efault.html

...even going so far to say...

'We hope the United States fully understands the lessons of history.'

That was the Vice Finance Minister.

It's hard to tell what kind of stupid game of ball they are playing up in washington, but even though this game they are playing actually makes China look good.... They are saying the results could be "globally catastrophic"

Really?... With all the countries who just want to laugh at us as we fall on our asses? With China wanting to take up any slack we are stupid enough to drop? Our economy is so important is going to be "globally catastrophic"?

FAR OUT.

Sounds kinda like they want something.

We keep circling this damn drain here and it seems like it is never going to end.
How much longer can we possibly circle the drain?

I guess instead we are just going to circle north Korea with the USS George Washington instead because you know how that pays the bills.

wpmedia.news.nationalpost.com...

What is this, some kind of government military vacation for the shutdown?
We've got unpaid workers working here in the states for emergency response yet at the same damn time we've got the military doing drills AGAIN with S Korea and Japan.

You know, because there's so much money to be made hanging around south korea and doing drills and since out of all the crap going on around the world, there isn't a whole lot of fighting going on over there... therefore we would NATURALLY send the military over there to do drills... because, I don't know, the weather's good... or something.

Gimme a freaking break.

SEOUL, Oct. 9 (Yonhap) -- North Korea on Wednesday accused the United States of focusing on "military provocations" rather than its dialogue offers, referring to the planned South Korea-U.S.-Japan joint naval drills involving an American aircraft carrier.

The routine naval drills off the Korean Peninsula between South Korea, the U.S. and Japan had been scheduled earlier this week, but they were postponed for a few days due to an approaching typhoon. It is not yet confirmed when they will carry out the naval exercise.

Could it be possible that this is what Un's been waiting for? A government shutdown, all attention on that, so he can threaten us and then, when we make more fun of him and say he won't do anything, attack?
He's been threatening and being laughed at. So if he threatened again, who would take him seriously?
Then he'd be able to attack and prove us wrong. Probably call us lazy and un-responsible.
We should just take it seriously.. Every single time. Why take the chance?

I can clearly see whats going on here:

Obama: hey mate need some help with this shutdown thing, its stucked, i dont think its gonna be solved anytime soon, could you give me a hand?

Crazy korean leader: no problem, ill handle it.

So now, obama has another point to make the congress vote on whatever they are suppose to vote to end the shutdown.
I cant believe how they can be so obvious, they clearly think we get stupider by the second.

PS: sorry for my bad grammar.

US speaks out about Un er DPRK tantrum , on RT of all places .. where is FOX MSN NBC?? oh holding hands with Obama over shut down www.reuters.com... from the link

Washington brushed off the North's warning.

"We've seen this type of rhetoric from North Korea before," State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said. "Such comments from North Korea will do nothing to end (its) isolation or reduce the costs (it) pays for defying the international community."

In March, the North declared it was no longer bound by the armistice that ended fighting in the 1950-53 Korean War signed with the United States and China, and threatened to use nuclear weapons to attack U.S. and South Korean territories.

South Korea's defense ministry said the U.S. ships were taking part in a joint routine maritime search and rescue exercise with the South's navy and said any criticism by North Korea was "wrong".

The North has defied international warnings not to build nuclear and long-range missiles and is believed to have enough fissile material to build up to 10 nuclear bombs.

Most intelligence analysis says it has yet to master the technology to deploy such weapons.

The United States, which has 28,500 troops stationed in the South, regularly engages in drills with its ally, and has said the aircraft carrier USS George Washington was leading a group of ships to visit South Korea in a routine port call.
so few remember in 2010 the 50 were killed from the link

The impoverished North's large but ageing conventional military is considered unfit to fight an extended modern battle but it staged surprise attacks against the South in 2010 that killed 50 people in aggression unprecedented since the war.

An attempt at dialogue in August led to the reopening of a jointly run factory park that had been shut amid high tension in April. However, talks have since hit a stalemate.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has ordered his country's military to be on standby for combat, the head of the South's National Intelligence Service said in a report to parliament, according to Yonhap news agency.
Un and the DPRK might be fun to make fun of, but never underestimate them.

With or without a shutdown its impossible NK can defeat the US, its suicide, no matter what. Let alone, taking on the Us, and then on SK.
Thats just my opinion though, I find it hard to believe NK war threat good timing its a mere coincidence, plus its all obama could hope for. Un will never attack the US. Especially because China wouldnt want a nuclear disaster in its doorstep.

China still backs the DPRK do not be fooled by China , and there is more to Un's er DPRK's moves www.itar-tass.com... from the link

PYONGYANG, October 9 (Itar-Tass) - Pronouncements by the ministers and remarks in the conservative press of South Korea "offend the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK", says a statement issued by an official of the political department of the National Defence Committee (NDC) of the People's Republic. The statement has been published on Wednesday.

The official maintains that the South Korean regime headed by Park Geun-hye (President of the Republic of Korea) "continues to step up confrontation with compatriots in the North despite a warning on the part of the DPRK". Judging by the statement, the NDC's particular indignation is aroused by demands, addressed to Pyongyang, "to renounce nuclear weapons and carry out reforms".

The NDC official believes that such actions run counter to the accords reached at one time by the North and South, the accords which envisage renunciation of interference in the internal affairs of each other, and respect for the system of the other side. He also warned that "the people and the army of the DPRK will attentively watch the conduct of Park Geun-hye and her entourage".

On Tuesday, a representative of the General Staff of the Korean People's Army laid the blame on South Korea and the United States for the mounting tension on the Korean Peninsula.
In his view, the signing of a strategic plan for military cooperation by the US and South Korea on October 2, as well as their intention to hold military maneuvers involving the American nuclear-powered aircraft carrier "George Washignton" serve as an evidence of such a stance.
Un and the DPRK may act on words alone, they think Park is weak and would not go to war, Un wants a one nation Korea and this is what it is all about, the US is just standing in the way of it.

Now the funny thing is that every time NK starts up, Iran pulls something, and when Iran starts something, to draw our attention, NK does something.

Now here is the one thing that I am surprised that NK has not figured out. As long as the US government is arguing amongst itself, we are really no threat, but if they act and take aggressive actions against SK, it runs the risk of making the government work again and start up real quick.

Then again, it could be that is the plan and China is orchestrating this to ensure that the US does not default on its obligations.

Yeah the distraction is called politics. We still have enough "essential" government employees to keep eyes and ears on any country we deem a threat. As far as not being a threat while the shutdown continues I would have to disagree. Our military is still active and it is not run by congress, our Generals are still being paid and still active and would have no problem mobilizing in the event of a threat. I believe the days of false flags are coming to an end... just more doom porn from people on here who want constantly live in "conspiracy land". NK can go F$%k themselves if they think they can get all up in arms because we have moved a carrier and its convoy into SK. They most likely have no idea what it is doing there. They could be restocking, or rotating crew, or who knows what else. They see everything as a threat. Hell maybe they should... with all the people they call "citizens" who are working in their prison camps because of some offense they made to lil'dong ... well maybe they need some freedom. Not that we should get involved, we need to stay the hell out of every country but our own. I am just saying that someone may get tired of the brown eye rhetoric that lil'dong is spewing.... he is like the boy who cried wolf and now no one is taking him seriously.

I dont think china would be very happy to have a nuclear war in a neighbouring country, and they will put special effort in trying to stop that from happening. I mean China is gaining momentum, its economy is in good health. Why would they support a nuclear confrontation between both koreas, they have nothing to win, they will try to disencourage NK from starting such an event at all cost.
Companies are moving in to China, money is flowing, a war would stop all of that, China backing up NK makes no sense in my book, itd be stupid to say the least.
On the other hand, a threat from NK sounds good for Obama, since it puts some pressure on the congress, and will place the republicans against the wall. To admit this you have to believe there are ties bonding Obama and Un. I think there are, just as it happens with Al Qaeda. but thats another matter altogether.
Bottomline, IMO this threat is just a charade to end the shutdown, which mainstream mass media will prolly try to inflate.

Again, sorry for my grammar.
