China and Japan warn US on default

Default IMO won't happen any time soon. The power of the US mind and ingenuity is it's true asset and this has nothing to do with a wayward government who has mismanaged things; the rest of the world sees this even if it's not out front. Let's not kid ourselves here... everything that matters today really was imagined, invented and created in the great mixing mind of the US. Many of the products have been hybridized and refined elsewhere but by and large the modern world was founded in the US and the rest of the world followed.

This is because there is really nothing like the US where multitudes of nationalities came to live together - the only other nation similar in this respect is Brazil and they too are a highly dynamic juggernaut on the rise and like the US their commodity is not cash but ingenuity and spirit - something lacking in the largely homogenous populations of the Eastern powerhouses (Russia, China, Japan).

Well technically they have stolen way more in tech and goods from us to cover the debt we owe them. If the president had any guts he would call them on it and have the UN officiate on the amount in damages the US has incurred with chinese spying ,hacking, and bootlegging. Not to mention manipulation of its currency and trade deficits.
