Please enlighten me as to why you think the US isn't going down the tubes?
back on topic, hopefully this is a peaceful event and no one is killed by those trigger happy scary cats in D.C.

I'll believe it when I see it. If they do show up in appreciable numbers to attempt this I think we will see the police
taking all their new military hardware for a spin. If they actually do this I just don't foresee it ending well for them.

no doubt the imposter potus will be playing golf at ...at an undisclosed location.

Maybe the Vets that are marching to the vets monument will connect w/ the truckers.

There were 2 million of us in deCeit in 9-09.
I have a map that is easy to do headcounts Billy O on Fox reprted 70k.

That was the end of the boobtube for me.

the most glorious "leader" left in the helicopter.

Good luck....

The ones they want to arrest are all above the laws and can not be arrested.

The only ones that can and will be arrested are the truckers themselves.

Is there any legit source on this other than the Facebook page that was banned? Who are all the freight companies involved? Seems like a hoax.

I think that even if some of the trucks make it into DC the MSM will not cover it. The better plan would be to for all the truckers to go home for a vacation and have a 3 day shutdown of most commerce.

The companies won't be involved, they can't afford to be. The ones like Prime, and CR England have huge fines in a lot of their contacts because they focus on food stuffs, a lot of it frozen. The dry freight companies like Swift and Werner have had long relationships with some of their customers and won't risk damaging them. The last time there was a strike attempt, a message was sent out that any company drivers that took part would be fired and it would go on their DAC as abandoning the load, which is one of the ways guaranteed to end your career.

That would make sense, but there are not enough truckers on the road now - this country is desperate for more truckers.

Companies can't hire enough truckers now to make ends meet.

You can't just make your own courts and convict whomever you want. It just doesn't work that way.

I think someone forgot to tell that to the criminal trash in Washington D.C.. I include the judiciary in that description.

Trust me, I know. But there are a few things you can do to destroy your career. If you want to drive again, a jacknife, rollover (under certain conditions), or serious rear end accident will put you on the sidelines for five years minimum. If you don't want to drive again, abandon your load or equipment somewhere.

This will be the tactic used.
What remains to be seen is whether or not it works.
These guys are pretty fed up as it is.

The last I heard they were going to leave the trailers where they could block roads and bobtail in. If that's the case then they are both abandoning their loads, and performing an illegal action. So it would be easy to stop by watching for where they go and waiting for them.

Although if all they have are 3-4,000 truckers (and I'll be surprised of that many actually show up), that's not even a drop in the bucket compared to how many are out here.

Yeah, they'll have to drop their loads. Otherwise they would simply be met by police barricades and an Army of bomb sniffing canines.

Yes it is illegal. I don't know if they care though.

The better course of action would be to carry their loads, force the police to intervene and coordinate a million man march on the capitol at the same time.

The law enforcement would be overwhelmed.

The problem with this "plan" is all it's going to do is turn the public more against truck drivers than they already are. The idiots in Washington will barely notice, if they do at all.

You're absolutely right.
As the "plan" stands now its an epic fail.
Logistics is such a mess at this point. This country is getting too big for its britches.

Too specialized in the sense that we don't provide for ourselves. We rely on specialists for everything from fixing our brakes to delivering our eggs from 1,000 miles away.

We deliver them in 70' long monstrosities that accelerate from 0-60 in roughly one hour. Truckers get pissed because people get pissed that they have to drive aggressively and clog the road lest they sit at a stop sign for two hours, even in the small towns.

Its a downward spiral until we either become more independent as communities or revolutionize the logistics industry.

But again, bob-tailing into the capitol 3,000 strong is borderline absurd. Protests do not work so long as business continues as usual.

Unless you SHUT DOWN the entire area, you will only be laughed at.

People CHOOSE to drive like morons around us, most of the time there is no reason for them to, other than they can.

As for the logistics system, unless you have a way to move raw materials around to places that don't have them, that's more efficient, then you're going to have trucks on the road, and a lot of them.

There are no feasible solutions. I'm just telling it like it is.

And people drive like morons all the time. Big rigs present or not.

Truckers plan 3-day slowdown on D.C. Beltway
Source - usa.today.com

In a statement posted to its Facebook page Monday evening, the Truckers Ride said Conlon did not speak for the group.

"Folks, here's the entire scoop on US News & World Report attempting to get a sensational title from someone not authorized to speak on behalf of all peaceful protesters. As we approach the event, this is what we can expect from the MSM and potential saboteurs --- but NOTHING will stop us."

Their FB page "Truckers Ride For The Constitution" is up now.

Here is a good search engine next time you have a question: startpage.com...

The truckers could just drive in with a ton of beat up old D-RT trailers that are empty and really clog up the DC area.
