Is it possible to retract a star once it is given? I got a bit of a twitch and pressed star accidently on a post that I don't agree with at all. Won't really matter in the great scheme of things, I'm just curious to know if there is a way of deleting that star.

just let it go, no harm has been done because you accidentally clicked a star on a post you don't agree with.

When you read a post (not here though), there will be an unlit star at top left of that post. If you wish to award that posters' comments, press star and it will light up green.
