Here is another comparison of one of the Smith family's E-FITS with a photo of Gerry McCann. Neither of the E-FITS looks exactly like a photo of Gerry, but none of the Smith family have owned to a photographic memory that I am aware of.

I think it is more than fair to say that the E-FIT in this post looks similar to Gerry. What are the odds of Madeleine's abductor not being Gerry but looking a lot like Gerry? Wouldn't they be similar to the odds of John Wilkes Booth looking a lot like Abraham Lincoln or Lee Harvey Oswald looking a lot like JFK?

Doesn't this settle the question that maybe one of the Smiths, when asked to do an E-FIT, simply said, "Make it look like Gerry.", or was recalling Gerry rather than the person they saw that night in doing the E-FIT? Why would they recall Gerry, if the man they saw did not look like Gerry?
