I give my apologies for that statement, and if your willing to find more statements i have posted to be from..

comedic intention i would appreciate it if you would bring it to light

and i know that was a reference to being naive, but this is my first long post.. So some info and where i got it was confusing, so in the process of bringing in 'evidence' i brought in more then i intended

sorry.

You know what I find entertaining...

I even said "Hey, I'm not trying to discredit your entire thread, just this one video..."

I think the rest of your thread ABSOLUTELY has legs.

However, the Medvedev interview is obvious sarcasm, it is a joke that is not clear to non Russians, and I personally asked a native Russian to interpret it and give me their observations.

I am *not* the only person to state this. And, it was well covered in other threads here as well.

Please take these things into consideration. I have NOTHING personal against you. I was laughing wholeheartedly over the whole thing throughout every single post. In other words, I thought it was such a small thing to be upset about.

At the end of the day, if you cannot laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at?

I understand your view and everyone else's but try to understand mine, maybe I have no concept of russian jokes.

But how i see it is he never said he was joking. and this already got my attention, im not saying you have to at all, but if you want to change my opinion you have to show a time he says it himself that it was a joke

Incredibly they reported seeing the faces of seven angels who were hovering just outside the space station. They told ground control their faces and bodies looked human but these beings had wings and misty-like halos. The angels kept up with the movement and speed of the space station for 10 minutes before disappearing as quickly as they had come.

You know the Russians like their vodka. Maybe they smuggled a couple of bottles on board? Being alone up in space for awhile, you have to do something to entertain yourself. Drinking enough of that stuff would make anyone see angels. lol

Interesting events happend in 1984, cosmonauts of the Soviet space station, Salyut 7 experienced something at the very least, interesting, this is what transpired.

The Salyut 7 has made the rounds here quite a bit.
it seems to have originated with Weekly Wold News

As was asked in that thread, can anyone find any source that predates the WWN story, October 22, 1985?

Otherwise, you've been batboyed.

Here's an interesting article about this topic, specifically how the testimony of astronauts is chopped and changed to suit the people selling their own video, or book, or advertising space:

www.csicop.org...

I haven't looked into the other astronaut testimonies, but I do know that Aldrin and Cernan's comments were taken out of context and that while at the time they were unsure what they were seeing, there was a perfectly rational explanation that they themselves were happy with and that did not involve big bug eyes and a death ray glare. "Unidentified Flying Object" does not automatically mean "Aliens".

Aldrin's comments on Phobos have also been taken out of context to mean pretty much the exact opposite of what he said.

Even when Mitchell says he has never seen a UFO, he is still held up as an example of someone who has seen a UFO!

"I want to believe" is definitely the motto for UFO lovers.
