WTH! When is the Japanese government going to start telling their people the truth?!?

Thousands in Japan reported to be suffering massive and recurring nosebleeds in recent days — Gundersen: Japan doctors tell us, “We know our patients have radiation illness” but forced to keep it secret!

FACTS: Previous compilations of tweets presenting facts discovered during the last week (*Tweets are all in Japanese)

FACT: Over 5,000 ppl were reported of tweeting “nosebleed”(hanaji) over the past two-day period from 9/22-9/23 togetter.com...
FACT: Over 3,000 ppl were reported of tweeting “can’t stop my nosebleed” (hanaji ga tomaranai) during the week of 9/20-9/30 (as of 12am 10/01/2013 JST)togetter.com...
FACT: Over 2,500 ppl were reported of tweeting “I’m nosebleeding” (hanaji ga deta) during the short days of 9/28-9/30 (as of 12 am 10/01/2013 JST) togetter.com...

WHAT THESE FIGURES MEAN:

(1) During the two-day period of 9/22-9/23, over 5,000 tweets were accounted with people tweeting “nosebleed” (Exact figure was 5,015 but my own comments and reactions have been deducted) nationwide. (2) Also during the period of 9/20-10/01, over 3,000 (Exact figure was 3,019 but my own comments and reactions were deducted) tweets were accounted with people tweeting “can’t stop my nosebleed” nationwide, signifying that the symptoms are recurring and massive in volume.

If the Japanese people come, some day in the not too distant future, to decide to overthrow Tokyo Government by force and brutal force at that? I hope nations around the world supply the people there with everything they require to do it. Every last bullet, knife or hacking device... Whatever is required. They earned the right to do it by what has been done to them and then 100% totally misrepresented.

They've been murdered by their own Government (In SOME cases, depending on where the poor people got relocated within the original exclusion zone) and they've destroyed off shore fishing for a culture that has defined itself by that, for most of history.

Fukushima as the initial event? That was a disaster. What has followed is a MAN-made catastrophe. They deserve to be run out on pikes. That's just my view as an American, far far away and across an ocean from there such events would have to happen.

Good find. S&F

This is troublesome... but looking through some of the comments, a few people mentioned the change in humidity and particulate in the air after some recent storms. Let's hope it's just that, and not radioactive moisture being inhaled from the contaminated ocean waters that are swept up by storms.

Thursday I was watching C-Span; house debate or open mike bashing.
A congress women from California, didn't catch her name, after time for her remarks had expired, made a statement about getting government to find out why so many children are having nose bleeds?

Was she talking about Japan or California?

I did look around internet for a bit and found no mention of nose bleeds in California.
Did come across interesting information that there are regional Nose Bleed Medical Centers throughout California. Don't think Florida medical would miss a chance at a cash cow, but haven't found any here.

Just wondering if there is a outbreak of nose bleeds going on???

Thanks for the post!

Fuku is the real deal.

You can whine about the shutdown all you want, but Hawaii and California are in the line of fire and radiation ... will ... not ... stop.

Does anyone know how to do a twitter activity search on nosebleeds to see if this is just contained to Japan or is it going on in California and other places?

I have done several normal internet searches and found none.

But the way the news operates now a days you never know?

FACT: Over 5,000 ..tweeting “nosebleed”
FACT: Over 3,000...tweeting “can’t stop my nosebleed”
FACT: Over 2,500 .. tweeting “I’m nosebleeding”

On the 3 & 10 noted days in the OP... there may very well have been 10,500 Tweets attesting to nose-bleeds

but that does not indicate there are 10,500 unique individuals reporting on twitter...
one person could be messaging a dozen or so times about their nosebleeds

So those 10,500 tweets might signify that 1,500 actual victims are tweeting about their individual ailment...which hardly sounds like a pandemic situation

next, lets find out where these nosebleeds are centered...if it is a down wind site or a likely drainage ditch downstream from the ruined reactor and dangerous fuel rods---- then there may be a direct connection between Fukushima radiation and the nose-bleed victims

this data is basically useless information that is being Spun into a porn-doom scare

or else the 'report' a ploy to make the upcoming Twitter IPO perhaps more desirable...
giving us the false impression the social media company (Twitter) can be reliable data-mine resource

Send this report to 'File 13' (trash basket)

As much as I am looking for symptoms to appear from this, I am cautious to commit to radiation as the cause here. So many factors are involved and I see no other evidence than a bunch of tweets that the source might be Fuku.

Need more data.

Which we won't get because of the media blackout. If symptoms attributable to radiation sickness appear including mass death from cancers and a plethora of other diseases, how do we prove beyond a reasonable doubt the culprit was radioactivity from the reactors?

Problem is people been dying in droves from cancer forevers and even that is hard to narrow down a cause for. Cigarettes, toxins in the environment and the food we eat all contribute. Suing Japan (or General Electric) because somebody died as a direct result is going to be difficult to prove in court. It already is.

Look at how long it took for veterans to get comped for being (directly involved) in nuke tests or for veterans with Gulf War Syndrome or ship workers for asbestosis?

We are in the dark poking at things with a stick... grrr.

Fukushima has been pouring radioactive water at a full flood level into the Pacific Ocean and primary food source for the people of Japan and West Pacific for a couple years now. If they aren't in direct line of surface winds, I don't much care, personally. Too much time has passed now for that to be any form of sole test to determine cause.

Is it radiation related, is the only question to my thinking. If it is, and it's Japan, Fukushima would be the cause ...unless someone knows of another source of nearly unmitigated release of radiation into the open environment and food chain in that area?

i was just using the water drainage & wind factors as a guideline for connecting Fuku and nosebleeds...

If the Tweets are from diverse population centers then that would rule out the Fuku reactor as the cause of nosebleeds from radiation

heck fire these few people in a much larger population could be getting nosebleeds from meds, dental x-rays, diet, hypertension....

thanks for the interest...now what about the logic presented that the 'nosebleed' fiasco is a ruse or a engineered 'story' that spotlights 'Twitter'....get to the meat of the matter not the fluff

Well, I'd say the meat of the matter ought to be simple enough. Given the fluid situation Fuku represents and the radiation as a changing threat is ever present? I'd say this is a dandy time for Tokyo to develop a quick response health screening ability to react to apparent trending like this.

I'm a bit busy for finding the stories just yet, but the U.S. CDC had developed just such a thing years back to track and, if needed, respond to trending issues as showing up across the net and social media. I wasn't real confident at the time I read about it for being worth the money. It sounded pretty.....fluffy.

It would seem to prove a fitting response to something like this though, since this may be the new way Governments and Medical authorities have to see widespread impacts. Many of which may not even have or are reported to medical authorities so a pattern can be seen and someone realize "Uh Oh! Something is happening!".

If they screen to find the issue, everyone will quickly know if radiation is the cause. Pretty meaty stuff there.

Well, I'll say this much for you guys.
When OP TOM first went down, my UNIT deployed to Misawa AFB where we helped in monitoring all the RAD coming to and from the base.
Within a week, I had several nosebleeds. I mean a lot of nosebleeds, as my battles too.
In addition to the nosebleeds, I had severe headaches, not all of us, like with the nosebleeds, but some of us had the headaches.
I had an ADM-3000, which measured in Rem, of course we never got hits in that size, it was all in MREM.
We found that vehicles coming from down south were being hit by wind direction that was heading West, so they were driving right through it.
The Hot spots were the grill, tires and wheel wells. Pretty much the entire front of the vehicle.
We did get some pretty huge hits though and were told to back up, them Japanese were scared as hell.

So nosebleeds? yes I'll say. Its funny that we never got a straight answer on that btw.

This is beyond repair and it's going to be a horror film.

An abomination of desolation.

SnF

Even tho all the man power on earth couldn't possibly turn this around.
I have had a full life at fiftyfour years old and I've always wanted an honorable death.
I would go there, still in possession of robust health. And fight this to the bitter end
for the human race. I am a humanitarian. I tearfully send Japan my love.

Japan and the world are being irradiated, not "nuked".

"Nuke" and "irradiate" are not synonymous at all.

I may not agree so much with you on other issues but thanks for the info on the radiation monitoring.

Can you remember what reading "pretty huge" was, by any chance? That and the date would be interesting to others I am sure.

The sun "irradiates" us too. Maybe a better word is "contaminated".

Also, GE sold those reactors with big smiles and promises to the Japanese with all the unresolved issues they contained.

Very yellow this Story.

Please research how much Radiation is needed to introduce
a bleeding Nose from ionizing Radiation.
