I believe that the U.S. capture of Baghdad came as a surprise to many in the Arab world after they actually bought into the talk that came from Arab press. It's nothing more than an effort to get more to join in their fight and to encourage those that continue to fight. I can't say that I blame the Iraqis for believing these reports. No one wants to hear that they are on the losing side. It's a matter of national pride.
