Poison

Right around the corner as you creep into my house
Silent and deadly, but quiet as a mouse

Your poison runs deep, it cuts like a shard
Weakness succumbs, I've let down my guard

Is it really wrong, or do I make these excuses
Seems I'm not as strong as these abuses

Please go away, and never return
Trying to be good can sometimes burn
