CIA ramping up covert training program for moderate Syrian rebels

The officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss intelligence matters, said the agency has sent additional paramilitary teams to secret bases in Jordan in recent weeks in a push to double the number of rebel fighters getting CIA instruction and weapons before being sent back to Syria.

Ok, let's be supportive of the CIA, shall we? While nobody can be sure how many of these CIA-trained "moderate" rebels will not become or are already Al-Qaeda members, we can be certain these new trainees will not come back and bite us one day, err... can we? Wait, surely somewhere in their training manual states: "Do not use your new-found skills to terrorize US and/or other nations"?

Oh well, they should know the US government has thrown its citizens under the bus with a government shut down but still continues funding their training program and weapons. Without any doubt, these soon-to-be radical "moderate" rebels will feel immensely indebted by such generous gesture. Best friends forever, huh? (nervous grins)

I wonder who the mastermind of the CIA-AlQeda training program is. Does anyone know?

A better question is: Who is the mastermind of the CIA-AlQeda training program in it's current incarnation?

Al-CIA-DUH started (officially) during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. Different goals, different mastermind. Apparently a CIA baby. Post 9/11, we know that pentagon planned to "take-out" seven Middle Eastern countries in 5 years. So, is the CIA calling the shots at DoD or is the DoD calling the shots at CIA?

Either way, does not matter ...... we know who the real terrorists are.

I'd imagine someone could tell us the single individual or group of individuals' names who woke up one day and said, "hey, we have an incredible surplus of funds and idle, bored CIA agents....let's get them to train some rebels in Syria. We'll get Obama to sign it off. He doesn't read anything outside teleprompters, anyway".

On another news, Venezuela just threw out three US diplomats for plotting to destabilize the country. US government is doing a real fine job making friends everywhere.
