These two brave soldiers should be given a medal for doing what so many of us ought to be doing which is fighting back against corrupt Government policies and ministers. Unless world peace breaks out we should have at least a decent army, air force and navy to defend our shores. And at the moment we are facing terrorist threats on a huge scale. I don't want to see a Kenyan style shopping mall massacre in our country. Or any country for that matter. Additionally the UK is a permanent member of the UN. So we have to have a decent size armed forces for UN duties. This does not necessarily mean combat, but for aid distribution in times of natural disasters and so forth.

They are both members of The Conservative Party and they will remain so.
Any Conservative gets no sympathy from me. They are all as bad as each other. I wonder if they supported the " Bedroom Tax"?

The UK ranks fifth on the global firepower scale. Their military is more than capable of defending it's shores.

Not to mention the UK between NATO and the EU is a part of a military force of 8 million. Not counting allies outside of the EU/NATO like Australia, New Zealand, Singapore etc. Yeah the UK is not in any danger.
