We aren't in WWIII...that is a fact.

NO KIDDING. That's because Putin stepped in and saved us all from it. I said Obama took us to the BRINK of it. That's not stability. And if you think the events of last month were 'stable' then there is no educating you.

Even if we did attack Syria, it didn't automatically mean WWIII.

OMG ... with those players involved and with the stakes involved ... of course it easily could have lead to it. EASILY. All over the world, every country involved, the people were all saying it .. the experts ... both civilian and military. Shake off the 'luv obama no matter what' attitude and look at what he said vs reality. They aren't the same thing.

The world is not more stable now than five years ago.
The world under CLINTON was more stable than under Bush or Obama.
THAT is when the world was more stable. But since then .. no stability.

What are you going on about? Russia made it very clear they would nothing if Syria was attacked. You do know Russia and the US are partners on many thing from cyber security to rebuilding the Afgan Airforce, that Russia has deals for weapons tech with Isreal, that as a part of NATOs PFP Russia is a part a NATO excercise next month etc. Russia did not even threaten to stop any of that stuff as sign of diplomatic displeasure over a possible US military action. Those would be the very basic steps you take to show you are serious. I hate to bring you kicking and screaming into the real world but, WW3 over Syria is a pipe dream.

Hell Kenya proves just how messed up it still is.
