It's not normal. If it were it wouldnt be news. Think of the over 30,000 that die in the US every year in car wrecks. That's "normal." Think of the
600,000 who die every year from heart disease. That's "normal."
Benches and pots are not the far more destructive means I was alluding to. Bombs, poisons, unrestricted access to water and food supplies, positions
in medical, food, mechanical, and other services...
The postal delivery worker, for example, is in a position to wreak immense havoc yet nobody fears him.
A hardware store and a paper route can end in as of yet unseen suffering for an entire city block.
