Please do not forget the SAS hero who leaped from the turret of a pre-attacked, then burning tank, jumped over a high barbed wire fence to rescue his friend in Iraq, and just how much the SAS do each day that is Never mentioned. The SAS Are Real James Bond Men. We owe them very Much Indeed.

The SAS have a long history with Kenya, going back to the Mau Mau uprisings....but lets not go there hey.
They are pretty much in most parts of the world, operating 'solo', where situations need to have an eye kept on them.

Yes mate, but he's a highly trained operative, and knows what he is doing, most of the general population, would not have had his training, most of us would have been killed in seconds if we'd tried to do the same.

I'm not saying this didn't happen, but the media loves to create a narrative with a hero involved. Nearly every terrorist attack will involve the bad guys and a hero. Normally an off duty cop or retired vet.

I just see it as social conditioning. I imagine the SAS were there pretty soon, seeing as Mossad were already involved in the rescue.

So you say "in your opinion" which of course and always will be respected... that the media loves to create a narrative with a hero involved and see it as social conditioning...!

So, please tell me, where did you get the information that the Mossad were involved... media or your own "internal sources"?

I QUOTE YOU HERE (and also underline your last statement) :

"I'm not saying this didn't happen, but the media loves to create a narrative with a hero involved. Nearly every terrorist attack will involve the bad guys and a hero. Normally an off duty cop or retired vet.

I am a little confused by your post and would appreciate a clearer explanation if you can please?

Kindest respects

I'm not surprised, the SAS are the best in the world bar none, that's the reason why other countries model their special forces after them and that's why they have, on many occasions been tasked to train others.

Israel has taken the leading role among foreign countries in aiding and advising Kenyan forces after al-Shabaab Islamist extremists attacked the Westgate shopping mall in Nairobi, according to security and intelligence sources.

www.theguardian.com...

The fact the daily mail picks up on one SAS soldier, whom we are meant to assume is off duty, is about creating a British hero of the hour.

Indeed. The headline has since today been downgraded from SAS to Ex-Royal Marine. Gotta love reporters.

You're looking at it all wrong. You're supposed to say: "see how a person with a gun allowed scores to be killed and the mall to be held hostage for days? Just like the useless guard at Columbine. Total fail for you gun nuts."

When it comes to good guys with guns stopping bad guys with guns the anti-gun sect takes the "100% or nothing" approach. Ironically, they're more than happy to adopt regs and laws that will never work 100% in a misguided attempt to disarm the world.

In today's scripted world do we know the real story ?

At first read, I was doing a little happy dance and glanced over an award on the corner of my desk. Then the questions.

- Was he supposed to be there for some reason?
- Did the militants know of a guy that was 'hands off'?
- were there people that needed an escort out of there at the right moment?
- how can we believe anything with all the known puppet master entities
- I just smell that stink of it being some sort of op.

BY Mossad, I assume you mean IDF / police personnel? Mossad is a (very small) intelligence agency with no mandate for direct field operations, when Mossad needs boots on the ground the boots tend to come from IDF / special force units, Shin Bett or hired guns.

More likely any Israeli involvement on the ground would have come from IGSA (shin Bett) or private Israeli security outfits.

Just wanted to tip my hat to anyone who risks injury to save others, regardless of how under or over-exaggerated the story may be.

It's good to see that others will risk injury to help others. You dont have to rescue 100 people from a besieged mall, but a general act of kindness is something that will help better this world.

Hey Woodward, did you get a moment to read my last response, have you overseen or have you chosen to ignore my question?

Perhaps the world is populated with more people willing to help others than you expected?

I just see it as social conditioning.

I would argue that the bystander effect is a better example of social conditioning. "Oh, i dont have to do anything because someone else, probably the government will do something to help". However, thank god there are some people who don't go along with the crowd and actually do something.
