Lois Lerner, IRS official at heart of tea party scandal, retires

Who would'a guessed !!

Now she gets off the hook (maybe) and will return to anonymity.

But as long as people know what really happened, it's OK right ?

The Internal Revenue Service said Monday that Lois G. Lerner, the woman at the center of the tea party targeting scandal, has resigned from the agency — though because of privacy rules it could say nothing more.

Ms. Lerner, who had been on paid administrative leave, was the director of the division that reviewed the applications for tax-exempt status from political groups over the past few years and that, according to an internal audit, gave extra scrutiny to tea party and other conservative groups.

She remains subject to congressional investigation.

I visited the IRS website to see if they were commenting on this news event in their News section but it seems these matters are "hush hush" or still pending declassification from the metaphorical vaults.

She'll probably get shuffled from one branch of government to another.

Wonder how long we have before we hear of her new position some where in this matrix called government?
She'll take a leave of absence and then, boom, she'll reappear.
And she'll escape this fiasco unscathed more than likely.

Awww...and old Lois had such a promising career future in the Obama administration. Oh well, I'm sure Hillary will find a nice cabinet position for her.
