I just watched video she made for her song 'Wrecking Ball'. Even though song sounds really good and is decent pop song, video is just disturbing. I've never seen something obscene like that on TV before, it's not even erotic or something like that, but rather just agressively sexual and inappropriate for girl her age and to be on TV in general. She used to be kid star and was really sweet, but it's obvious she must have gone through some programming as many other female pop musicians and I think this video is about it. I won't go into detail, you will probably get that vibe that something is deeply wrong with how she combines look of innocent child that is hurt and crying and at the same time she is portrayed as purely sexual being, perhaps a victim of sexual abuse. It is known that pedophiles are attracted to innocence, vulnerability and she's doing completely wrong thing with her recent videos. It doesn't help kids, her fans or other women to be portrayed as anything else but objects to be used. I mean, she's singing one thing and doing the opposite in video to make exact statement that anyone with half brain can understand and see how wrong it is. Hopefully, she'll be rated as 18+ and be limited to radio.

She is over 18 she can do what she wants. If parents don't want their kids to see these kind of videos then tell them to do their job.

Frankly, Madonna, the original whore, set the stage for all the whores who followed her. This is no surprise.

This is the sexualization of youth at its finest. I've seen the video as well and feel total and utter disgust. She pays no mind to how many of her fans are still very young and see her acting like a whore and then think it's alright to emulate that. But then again I don't believe she is in control of her self. Many times I paused the video to look for occult symbolism and caught a shot of her looking directly into the camera with her pupils being extremely dilated. Who truly knows whats going on? The only thing I know for sure is that there's something going on.

As a heterosexual male, I do not like her short hair *man* cut... Other then that, God bless Miley...

There is the video, she doesn't show any nudity..

That is very simple minded point of view. It's not about her, but about society and what is acceptable. Also obviously, someone is constantly pushing the boundaries with more perverted stuff not in favour of our culture and civilization.

The only thing about this girl that I find "disturbing" is the obscene amount of money that she makes putting out the crap that she does.

Other than that, I couldn't care less about Miley Cyrus.

I agree, sexualization of youth goes on constantly in media, everything seems to be devoted to that. Artists have no class anymore, primitive and personal urges such as sex took place and our attention.

I don't have anything against Miley, it's probably bussiness to her and besides, you can't escape being manipulated to some degree if you want to keep your label contract. Maybe she is possessed, maybe not. I've experienced spirit possession for some time during acid trip and ayahuasca, it can't make you do something that radical, but I guess multiple personality programming can. Especially if influenced by spirits, which then control your body completely. Almost every porn actor for example is influenced by spirits or completely under demonic possession, but I don't know if that's case with Miley, probably not really, but still...

Some would say it was the opposite way around. Video looks good, but sounds meh.
As for no nudity, I have to disagree. There is no explicit nudity but she is naked on a wrecking ball acting suggestively.

Certainly previous generations (1950s, 60s, 70s) have reacted to less. Ultimately I have to paraphrase a radio host who made a good point when he said the only parents complaining about Miley Cyrus being a negative influence are those who probably aren't A+ parents to begin with.

With that said, standards shift over time. Perhaps in the future such music videos will be rated 12+, if they aren't already.

Screw society. Only sheep want others to tell them how to live their lives as long as they are not hurting anyone else then they can do as they please. That's the American point of view. If parents are too lazy to get off their butts and pay attention to what their child is watching then they shouldn't have had them.

Haha, American point of view on nudity always amazed me for some reason. She could be completely naked showing her private parts while doing something non sexual and it wouldn't be considered provocative or sexual at all where I'm coming from, but rather artistic or just beautiful. But exactly that suggestive behaviour is why this video is too sexual to be on TV.

In a free country this is acceptable. As Buster said if you or parents don't like it don't watch it, don't let your kids watch it.

It's not about what "society" wants in a PC way. It's about what society wants to spend their money on. This video really isn't very shocking. Neither is Miley.

That clip gives me a bad vibe too.

Like it´s a statement of ritual abuse or something. Also a lot of focus on making her look like an adolescent male it seems.

Actually Wreaking Ball is about her break up with Liam Hemsworth. You can read about it here: Examiner News

Miley Cyrus Is no longer in contract with Disney so she probably wanted to be a bad girl for a change instead of being a teen role model. I do not see anything wrong with the video that is bad on her part, she is obviously a very talented and smart person to be the super star that she is.

I still don't know why people are going off on this chick...

What would you all like? Women on stage to wear burlap sacks? Dress up like men and act prim and proper?

Am I the only one who is not afraid to say:

"Yes I'd hit that"

Well I would. Stop being so damned stuffy, who cares, its show business, and yes there are a lot of people who DO appreciate a slutty show.

Stop making it sound as though a nice tight rear and an attitude to use it is a "bad thing"

Its sex. Its natural, Go back to church if you don't like it.

Well she's 20 years old and more than capable of showing it off if thats what she feels is needed to up her career. People have the opinion that its unacceptable and distasteful. Others may like it.
I'm kind of neutral on this whole twerking, tongue and nakedness thing. Society today ( more of the Generation X) are far more welcoming personal expression the way Hannah Montana has, Lady Gaga, Madonna etc...

It's an awful truth but sex sells. Period.

Gawd I'm happy to be of an older generation where you appreciate someone's actual vocal talent rather then someone's physic.

Oh, sorry - I guess she forgot that a MAN might not like HER hair cut the way she wants it cut. Sometimes us women do forget at the end of the day, all we are here for is to be found attractive by men. Ugh. Not everything women do is in the pursuit of men finding us attractive. Why does short hair have to be a "*man*" hair cut? Oh, and when she cut it - she gave money to a Cancer Charity for it.

OP, she's over 18, if you don't like it, next time it's on, flick the channel. I don't care for the clip myself, so I won't watch it, full stop. It's really that easy.

I'd definitely agree with all that...

Maybe she will duet with these plonkers...

The song's mediocre to me at best, I don't really care for it. As for the video, I think Nick Cage could do it better.

I really wish they'd done more than 8 seconds' worth, lol
