you are 100% correct. As there are zero peoples "native" to the American continent.

Do you now want to say that todays "natives" were here first? New finds are disproving that. Pre-Clovis finds show an earlier western migration to the eastern seaboard.

Maybe it's just a really long game of "move your feet lose your seat" with pushing allowed.

You're picking a different fight now. Native Americans have a history of their own originally coming across the Bering Street or via boats. With that said, they are the longest living inhabitants of the Americas.

And some Amerindian groups tell of stories of the pale skinned, red haired race that lived on the land before they arrived, so your argument holds no weight.

I thought this was going to be a "cut and dried" thread, basically without argument and everything that needed to be said was said in the first page or two. I'm wrong again.

Just to clear this up in my mind, should they be punished for the belief they hold? If so, this country has a lot more punishing to do in backlog. And where is the statute punishing belief again?

Is the complaint that they might choose to live together with people of their own "kind?" That can't be it, as has been pointed out that happens in every state of the Union.

I get it. We should go after them because they might do something wrong in the future. That must be it.

By the way, in 2010 Leith, ND had a population of 16. If those people in the picture live there, they're well on their way to being the majority in the town. Shall we prohibit majority rule?

I'm sure the Sheriff, the FBI, the NAACP, the Southern Poverty Law Center, the DOJ, and who knows who else, will station observers there. If they do anything wrong, they'll be punished for it, unlike the citizens of many of our larger cities.

Right, they want to live that way, its their belief. Until we destroy LaRaza (who has even less legitmate claim to America), NAACP, etc.. then leave them alone!

I don't agree at all with them, but people have to be free to live how they believe as long as others are not harmed. harm must be proven, btw,

let more people form their own govt;s towns, if a pro-medical mj, non religious, non fanatic amish hippy type town started, I might check it out.

Yes, for some reason it's OK for every other ethnic group to live together and support each other, but white people are not allowed to have any kind of solidarity or community based on anything more meaningful than sports or guns.

I was at this gathering Sunday. It was a pretty hate filled protesting group of 450 (or so) people. Of course I recognize that only a few can make a whole crowd seem negative. I'll try to get more photos or the video of the town meeting uploaded soon.

Has anyone ever noticed that "White Supremacists" are nearly always the "least supreme" specimens of their kind? I mean, look at this bunch. It's like they got lost on their way to the trailer park. Most white supremacists I have had the misfortune of meeting were one or more of the following:

1. Overweight
2. Had criminal records
3. Were drunks or druggies
4. Had sketchy employment histories
5. Dropped out of school
6. Looked like an extra from "The Hills have eyes"
7. Had serious mental issues
8. Have romantic difficulties with the opposite sex

That said, I do believe they have the right to believe whatever BS they want, and so long as they do not physically harm or harass other people or their property, or deny others their constitutional and civil rights, they should be able to practice their tripe or live wherever they want, or express their opinions within reason.

Just because something is offensive, idiotic, immoral, ludicrous, annoying, or ridiculous does not mean it should be forcibly suppressed or legally persecuted. Freedom of speech, belief, thought, and associations extend to everyone, including those ideas you disagree with or find deplorable.

After all, everyone is capable of being offensive to someone. Here is a list of people, groups, or organizations that I find are offensive, or hold potentially harmful and revolting ideas, or who just irritate the crap out of me:

Liberals
Conservatives
Progressives
Socialists
Communists
Capitalists
Fascists
Statists
Christians
Jews
Muslims
Feminists
Misogynists
White Supremecists
La Raza
Black Panthers
Nation of Islam
CAIR
ACORN
Atzalan
NAMBLA
Eco-Fascists
Anti-Gun idiots
Science cultists
Militant atheists
New Age Kooks
College Students
Globalists
Militant skeptics
9/11 Truthers
Gangstas
Meatbags who drive monster trucks
Rednecks
Hood Rats
Hipsters
Militant gay activists
Labor and Trade Unions
Pro-Lifers
The UN

As you can surmise from this list, I hate, or am offended by about 99% of people and their opinions. If any of these people walked into my property, I would relentlessly fling dog crap, rotten eggs, and verbal abuse at them until they left. However, I would fight to the death anyone who tried to take away their rights to be irritating, sanctimonious, delusional, ethically questionable, hypocritical, brain-dead, and offensive. And the right to practice their nonsense within reason. Just as I have the right to despise them.

Hate is a part of freedom, and you have to take the good with the bad, like it or not. Freedom itself is worth it.

Moving into a town and choosing to live there as a group is Not " taking over the town" as our title suggests.

As long as they obey the laws, they have a Right and are Constitutionally protected - they can live anywhere they want.

These protesters should keep quiet until these folks break the law. They arejust going to stir up additional unneeded hate and resentment - stir up hate I say - something they claim to be against!

This will backfire on them for lack of good judgement.

Yes I am bigoted biased and to many no doubt wrong but my father lost friends to Nazis and I intensely dislike them.If I had ever really felt hate ,someone would be killed.Even towards my Ex I don't hate just hurt.
As to gatherings of white people I guess you don't go to cons.I am a nerd or geek full blown as well as a combat vet so naturally Klingons appeal to me greatly. They are all races and fat ,obnoxious, warlike people.

As to public opinion just "weird",and fine with me I would enjoy injuring these people if I see them uplifting Hitler.Fortunate for me I am disciplined enough to handle it...unless touched physically in anger.
Which I can manipulate a strong ego to do easily.

It reminds me of the scene in Django when the triple k has that argument over the masks. "Damn*t Kelly! You forgot to wear your shirt!"

Hmmm, seems like protesters are upping the ante and now stealing their property. Unless they gave the flag back after, but the article doesn't mention they did.

This is going off topic a bit, but it's semi related to your post. In Europe, (I can attest to this being true in Norway at least), the "anti" fascists are more hate filled and violent than the fascists they go against. There was a fascist march in Oslo a while back, I watched (as it was happening right under my apartment window) and saw anti fascists literally go into a frenzy and attack them by throwing rocks, hitting with sticks and more. It was so bad the police had to intervene.

I read in VG (or Dagbladet, forget which) the next day that they had arrested over twelve anti fascists and one fascist.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that sometimes those against the belief (in this case Nazism) are sometimes just as bad, if not worse! Granted, I don't think that's the case with the picture you posted, but as far as legality goes, I've not yet heard anything done by the neo-Nazi's that is illegal. Yet, here the protesters already committed theft.

But answer me this (anyone), why are we so worried over some little group that moved into a town and flew Nazi flags when we have hundreds of thousands (if not millions?) that believe we're on "their" land? Remember the Atzlan thing a few years ago? Where people were flying the U.S. flag turned upside down under the Mexican flag?

Isn't that a big deal? Or are we simply hating on the people in OP's article because they're white and politically correct to hate? (I'm being a little obtuse here heehee, but it's still a valid point.)

Personally, I don't support trespassing and theft as a valid form of protest. I know I wouldn't like it if someone didn't approve of my philosophy/way of life, and took it upon themselves to help themselves and come on my property and steal my flags. In fact, it's a pretty good way to end up getting shot....

Neo-Naz is Trying to Take Over North Dakota Town Sent Running by Native American and Anti-Fascist Activists

“Lakota, Dakota, Anishinabe, Apache, African, Irish, German, Norwegian, Spanish, and other anti-racist individuals stood together to fight against the attempted nazi takeover of Leith, North Dakota.”

Chalk one up for the good guys..

I cannot believe that some of you are OK with this. I bet you are also right wing. Would not surprise me at all.

The issue is here they are attempting to take over a town that has a black man living there. Seems they want him out, so are you ok with them displacing him to make their "White Utopia"?

How many times have those other groups, as you like to compare them to, forced a white person to move?

I have no problem with a person being proud of their culture..but since when does white have a culture..I am pretty sure there are Jewish, Germans, Russian...etc cultures..so which one is the white culture?

I agree and so does this guy.

They deserve anything they get, I wouldn't spit on these guys If they were on fire.
I think they should have their kids taken away so not to be brought up in such hate filled bigoted bastard homes.

My Grandad fought against these guys also as most of the world did.
I would fight against these people If they moved in next door.
