I agree that they definitely need re-schooling (in an enlightening, compassionate way, not FEMA re-education camp way).

Now when they start to encroach on the rights of others then it's time to take action. Correlation does not = causation. Staying on topic to this thread, I know that means you can't judge every Neo-Nazi based on a stereotype or stigma but hell the name Neo-Nazi + their photo salute doesn't help their case. While categorizing people is a double-edged sword providing both efficiency in organization and stereotypes when patterns are found, it is ultimately the way society operates. While I agree that you cannot profile everyone based on their ideology, their leanings can indicate how sensitive they are to others - maybe Jews for example or non-whites. And if they are not sensitive to minorities then throw the book at them.

Sorry...your post pointed out two races and a religious sect, majority white, in an article about white supremacy. I'm not all white. And I'm sure if you are, no one will bother you about your religion unless you make it a big deal. No one likes a proselytizer whether religious or atheist.
