A short documentary about two former circus elephants that were separated
for 22 years. They were reunited at an elephant sanctuary.
Sadly, the elephant Shirley was then separated with her human caretaker, who she had grown to love.

(I can't embed YT vids so here's the link)

Thank you, I needed that.

There is nothing more beautiful then animals showing affection for each other.

I beg to differ. Something far more beautiful is animals whom are allowed to live in an entirely natural environment; and are not confined within fenced in boundaries; and do not live in cages; and are not taken away from their families to be transported elsewhere.....

Beauty = Creatures who are allowed to live their own life.

Thank you for making my day.

Bless those people who set up that sanctuary.

What a great video.

Its a shame, though. We are so inspired by this. By the fact that this animal will "finally" get to live with nature.

All the while, we ignore that we take our kids to the circus and to zoo's that imprison these animals for our amusement.

We get to have our cake and eat it too. Enjoy the animals while captive, then enjoy the "feel good" of when our screwing of them is finally over.

LOL, humans.

Our County Fair after 32 years banned the Elephant Rides.

Videos like this are wonderful for waking people up to this issue.

However, the irony is striking.

Just because I tried to say something without acting like a soapbox "A**" doesn't mean I don't agree with you.

There is a time and a place for these discussion's and I did not feel like this was it.

I hope your not as cruel to the animals you claim to care about, you sure as hell ruined the rest of my day.

You're welcome.

I call it like I see it, and what I saw was cages and fences.
