That was one of the most awesome experiences to view. As with so many, if I had to reincarnate back here, I would love to do it as an Eagle. That ability to fly has always been one of my dreams. I often fly in my dreams, not quite as gracefully though. The control is just not there in the dreams.

Thanks for that great video OP!

Awesome video. I remember seeing an osprey or some other bird of prey - it had yellow eyes and sat right on the top of the trees opposite our house. I always wondered what the view would be like when jumping off the tree and swooping into something:

BTW, BBC have some more details and videos on how these were made:

CGI my butt.. your spending far too much time on ATS. It is clearly visible that what we are seeing here is swamp gas from the planet Venus interacting with HAARP waves and defracting off the Chemtrails...

That is cool! Bird of prey are amazing creatures. Where I live here in the Oklahoma Ozarks we have several Bald Eagles and Red Tail Hawks that I just love to watch when I see them. When an eagle goes for a dive after it's prey it reaches some incredible speeds. I wish they'd have gotten that on video.

You're both wrong. That's obviously a weather balloon.

If you think that's cool, you should see a peregrine hunt! This bird was clocked at 180 and then a week later clocked at 240!!! Eagles are clumsy compared to these bad@$$es

video of peregrine

I wish the OP's video didn't have to end. Very neat.

Purplemer, That was totally amazing! A real birdseye view. I wish the video had been longer. A 24 hrs in the life of an eagle would be great. Many thanks for posting this, it made my morning. SnF

My daughter summed it up nicely with this statement: "It must be awesome to be an eagle." Agreed!

Looks an awful lot like this!

About 2:30 is where they start to fly like an eagle.

Really cool!

But I'm wondering how they got a camera on an eagle's back?
