Hi boys and girls,

Yesterday evening when i switched on the tv i came across this new advert over here in France that i just thought i had to share with you all...

My humour got the better of me :

Enjoy

Rodinus

Ps. The advert is for French horse racing betting, at the end the French guy says "you like a bet? you will love betting for horse racing"

It is a shame that you edited your respected opinion here and on the threads of other people in the general chit chat forum after my last comment W, part of being here as an active member is denying ignorance and activly voicing your own opinion in order to create constructive debate.

But never mind.

Kindest espects

lol.

I am a student of life not a teacher.

Do you feel there is nothing left to learn? Are you a "know it all" ?

There are those who wish to teach, I am in the process of gathering information.

EDIT- i agree back on topic...peace.

Don't know what you posted as you deleted it. Sometimes it might be better just to say "whoops that came out wrong" or explain your response. It's easy to come off in a way people misunderstand. We all do it.

It's just an amusing thread. Nothing serious.

Thanks Bassa for your kind words.

What i wanted to turn out into an amusing and light hearted thread seems to have sadly gone all wrong

I really hate it when things go all sour and negative because of misinterpretation!

No worry's. Got any more? Maybe it's just that many years of my life were lived in the EU. Euro humor is funny to me.

Had a good idea where the t-paper was going but it' was still better than the last US commercial I saw (maybe 4 or 5 years ago.) Don't watch much TV.

This commercial is tacky, its not humorous. Even if you could find some twisted reason to laugh about someone who was murdered, this ad fails to do that. The ad doesn't represent the product or service. There's just nothing good to say about this video.

You personal opinion is respected Sas,

So, do you think that a commercial like this should be banned in France or in any other country?

Should we ban all commercials that depict everyday life and reality in general and just live like sheeple and look through rose tinted glasses whilst being totally politically correct?

We all have our own different cultures, senses of humour, opinions etc etc... what might be funny in France, UK, Russia, China might not be funny in The US or another country and vice-versa...

Of course i do not laugh at the actual fact that someone was murdered but at the humour of how the scenario is played out in the commercial...this is is supposed to be a conspiracy site and for those who understand what i am talking about and have probably contributed to some of the JFK debates i actually thought that this might have thrown a little bit of light heartedness out here on this sometimes doom porn filled site.

My sincerest apologies if you were offended, but i guess there is no pleasing everyone!

Kindest respects

Rodinus

I would love to Bas,

When i have time this weekend i will try and come up with some more.

I would also love to see what commercials other people here might find and would like to share from their own country and culture! and see how tolerance levels situate in regards to other peoples cultures

If some people may be offended by the commercials that i have depicted or will depict here (although T and Cs will be respected) i sincerely apologise in advance.

Kindest respects

Rodinus

I never gave any indication the video should be banned. Your question was baseless and unfounded. You find humor in the way a video that portrays someone who was actually murdered in real life, being instead accidentally killed?
