makes you wonder what bin laden and Saddam Hussein and all the other terrorists knew . seems to me if you are free thinking and refuse to believe the utter garb the government and world leaders feed you , you're a terrorist .

Oh i think it's quite clear who the actual terrorists are.

Think of it like a fart...the one screaming loudest about the foul stench is usually the one who farted, but is trying to divert blame...same thing with the US government..they farted basically and are trying to blame anyone, or everyone else for the stench.

They ought to try honesty for a change, it's an alien concept to them, but i'm sure if they tried they'd get the hang of it.

The FBI is instructing local police departments and "communities against terrorism" to consider anyone who harbors "conspiracy theories" about 9/11 to be a potential terrorist, in a circular released to local police departments.

The memo thus adds 9/11-official-story skeptics to a growing list of targets described by federal law enforcement to be security threats, such as those who express "libertarian philosophies," "Second Amendment-oriented views," interest in "self-sufficiency," "fears of Big Brother or big government," and "Declarations of Constitutional rights and civil liberties."

A newly released national poll shows that 48 percent of Americans either have some doubts about the official account of 9/11, or do not believe it at all.

Go figure. When you try to pry at the truth and have an opinion on things that makes you a "terrorist". I swear the American gov't is getting so paranoid they are just going to start labeling everyone a terrorist. They should have bigger things to be worrying about in my opinion.

The article refers to sleeper cell agents, that most of us know, as trained killers that are to be activated at anytime. The gov't are pros at this in my opinion are are prolly the ones behind them.

"Sleepers" refers to "sleeper cells," in FBI jargon, which are terrorists awaiting orders to be activated into terrorist activity.
In 1998 it was declassified by the Pentagon that the Joint Chiefs of Staff had approved a plan, in 1962, to attack and kill US citizens to "provide justifications for US military intervention in Cuba." The plan was code-named Operation Northwoods, the face page of the declassified document is below.

According to the polling firm YouGov, 38% of Americans have some doubts about the official account of 9/11, 10% do not believe it at all, and 12% are unsure about it.

Too much doesn't add up for me to believe the 9/11 reports. It definitely points to a full blown conspiracy. So what do you all think ATS?

Anyone on ATS is a potential terrorist. We are "pseudo reporters" with our posts that show an alternative to the mainstream collective of garbage to be believed. We are the ones that they want to stop with Feinsteins latest call to define what a journalist is.

Also, this is not new. It was suggested shortly after Obama took office. It is to stop those who would impede the rapid flow to Socialism that is taking place.

Folks, Obama and his administration have been preparing for protecting themselves and setting it up so that anyone, anyone can be charged as a terrorist or a threat to the New American way of life. It happened once before, in the 30's, and those who wanted it then did not have the depth to control the world. They do now.

Also, it was NORTHWOODS, Not North Winds. That was an operation in WW2. Look into Mongoose as well but it is talked about less. NORTHWOODS involved remote drone aircraft which is why the no planers attached it to 9/11.

There's probably two lists. A watch list and a priority watch list.

The priority watch list incorporates people targeted due to them being what most of us would consider to be dangerous, nasty people likely to try and do us and our harm in one way or another.

The watch list, includes the rest of us...all of us i'd bet, unless something you said or did causes your name to be removed, and even then i think 'removed' isn't right, more probably shifted down in priority target status instead.

But if the NSA thing has taught us anything...it's that we're ALL being spied on and surveilled regularly by our Governments and it's agencies. Ergo, we're all potential enemies of those in Government, or at least proves they think we are.

OTOH, there's the 9/11 Commission Report, which is as far as I know, the only "official" "historical" record of the event which in the words of Zelikow himself is more of a "narrative" or a story than an actual historical accounting of events and on that note, you might be well served to research Zelikow's biography and his writings pre-9/11 to understand why he was charged with creating the official "narrative" for 9/11.. you might be rather taken aback..

In 1998, Zelikow actually wrote Catastrophic Terrorism about imagining "the transformative event" three years before 9/11.

Here are Zelikow's 1998 words. Readers should imagine the possibilities for themselves, because the most serious constraint on current policy is lack of imagination.

An act of catastrophic terrorism that killed thousands or tens of thousands of people and/or disrupted the necessities of life for hundreds of thousands, or even millions, would be a watershed event in America's history.

It could involve loss of life and property unprecedented for peacetime and undermine Americans' fundamental sense of security within their own borders in a manner akin to the 1949 Soviet atomic bomb test, or perhaps even worse.

One quote I found online related to the FBI attitude,

So these 'JIB's' are actually the official grapevine at work, disseminating incriminating information elsewhere lower in the chain, like police in advance of any conviction whatsover, while at the same time saying these are "merely allegations"
To my mind that is so fecking dangerous to any innocent individual who may have some kind of association with the person described above. The other big problem is these are 'joint publications' from the FBI and DHS in the USA. From that point of view, you must consider that the FBI's and DHS philosophy are one and the same.

You may be right, but it also limits open and immediate access to its content by the Internet.

I have heard it put this way recently, this is an illusion we live in. Then, we find out it's a "controlled" illusion. But, it's an illusion just the same. Seek the truth is always the answer, then we find a real rock to stand on. I believe that rock is Who we are. That begins to break the illusion. That's as far as I've gotten.

I didn't even know about that operation northwoods thing until now. It's funny how people STILL haven't realized events like this are either provoked, or even carried out by our own government.

Just take a look at the history. The U.S. in basically every war in the last 100 years has been portrayed as the victims, not as the aggressors. If you throw the first punch at someone for basically no reason, the public wouldn't want to step in and help. But if it seems like we're over here minding our own business then just get attacked out of "no where" then people will be outraged and scream for war.

World war I: The U.S. was originally going to stay neutral in the war. But, A U.S. ship called the Lusitania was in German territory heading to England, it was sunk by German U-boats. Even though the Germans warned that if we sent ships they will most likely be considered hostile. A seemingly desperate attempt to have a reason to enter the war. And it worked. The U.S. was outraged, and entered the war soon after.

World War II: December 7th, 1941, the Japanese Imperial Navy launched a "surprise" attack against an American naval base in Hawaii. This shocked the American citizens, Roosevelt himself deemed it "a day that will live in infamy." Once again a seemingly surprise attack against America, and another reason to enter yet another war. It's now shown our government had considerable fore knowledge of the attack, and even provoked it. We canceled all trades with Japan, and we also supplied the Japanese enemies with supplies. So in other words, our government wanted them to attack us, to give a reason to enter the war. Once again, we did not want to seem like the aggressors.

Vietnam: August 1964, A U.S. ship off the cost of Vietnam was reported to be engaged by Vietnamese Subs and/or ships. And again it was portrayed as an unprovoked attack. Even though much controversy surrounds what actually happened today. Some say that it was nothing more than a radar glitch. Others say that the incident didn't even take place. But, one thing is for sure, this event projected us into yet another war where once again we were portrayed as the victims, not the aggressors. And president Johnson asked for military action from congress, and got it. The Vietnam war then followed.

Attempted invasion of Cuba: April 1961, The U.S. government's CIA agency sponsored a militant group to try and invade and over throw the Cuban government, and get rid of Fidel Castero. This attempt failed quite horribly. And this event was tried to be done as covertly as possible. We Americans did not want to out right attack Cuba, since they were backed by Russia. Plus, it would not help Americans get on board with it.

Operation Northwoods: March 1962, A classified document at the time (now declassified) which Kennedy rejected, called for the CIA to orchestrate attacks against American cities/territories to then pin on the Cubans, in order to try and sell a war with Cuba. Luckily Kennedy rejected this, and no further plans were made regarding it after his assassination. It seems after the Failed Bay of Pigs fiasco our government wanted to try and carry out false flag attacks to give us a good reason to start a war with them.

September 11th, 2001: 4 commercial airline flights we said to be hijacked by middle eastern terrorists directed by Osama Bin Laden. 1 plane stuck the north, and south twin tower. Another had stuck the pentagon. And the last had crashed unsuccessfully into a field in Pennsylvania. Are you seeing the Deja Vu? Again, America was attacked "out of no where" by so called terrorists. Even though now there is evidence the government had a great deal of knowledge about the attacks. Perhaps they even helped it. Since then, it's been beat into our heads that terrorists are out to get us, this time the enemy is more illusive. A terrorist doesn't go under one country or system. Anyone can be a terrorist pretty much. And this paranoia of terrorists had lead the the U.S. invasion of Iraq, and Afghanistan. Not to mention drone strikes in country's such as Yemen, and Pakistan.


Isn't it obvious what's really going on here? As American's we aren't just getting attacked for no reason. It's exactly what TPTB want. And it's done to have the Americans to jump on board with another conflict. And I'm sure some with ask: "Why would the want this?" "Why would the government want it's citizens to go out and die for nothing?" It's quite simple. It's all done for money. War is one of, if not the most profitable industries ever.

Throughout history the wealthy have always been running the show, and just because we Americans are told that we have a "fair" and "democractic" society doesn't make it so. The wealthy have been influencing our government, and many another governments for years. The fact in the matter is money gets things done. The wealthy control the good land, the oil, the water, the food, and so on and so forth. And when you have control, you have power. So much power is brought about all because of a bunch of pieces of paper, that have basically no value whatsoever. It simply just has a value printed on it. This is just insane when you think about it. People are so driven to obtain money that has been basically created from thin air with no actual value attached to it. Money is just the result of created debt. And some people have no problem murdering people, polluting the planet, and just emotionally devastating people in order to get more. It's exactly how the system is setup. Just look at the stock market. All the stock market is, is a sophisticated money movement system. Money is moved from one commodity/business to another. So people are essentially benefiting from peoples misfortune. A system like this, and people who power it, need to be stopped. Their driving our world into madness. Further and further each year. It's time to take control back, once and for all.

Only half I thought that number would be a lot higher.
