Latest images of Comet C/2012 S1 ISON!

And it's a green o0ne, like some of us expected ..



C/2012 S1 ISON with RH200mm f3.0 September 16, 2013UTC

The comet appeared with yellowish white dust tail with length about four arcminutes and green-tinted ion coma in the constellation Cancer. The location of the comet was 1.9 AUs from the Sun and 2.6 AUs from the Earth at the night, 72 days before the perihelion passage at 0.0125 AUs from the center of the Sun according to the current prediction.

This 1314 x 976-pixel frame is cropped of 5634 x 3753-pixel full frame. If I could use an optics with focal length 2.5m, I may be able to take a frame of this scale.

I think That a star / planet behind ISON..if it ISON part it will have a Tail too..

Its not the big white dot behinde ISON, it is the very smal dot just next to and behind ISON, you have to look close to see it. It is part of ISON´s tail and you cant tell if it got its own tail or not being that the small chunk is in ISON´s tail.

It is on, a star that will follow you down. It will turn your smiley upside down. Do not bother, go about your day. Some may believe this post is gay. It is not.

So if im in the Arkansas, when is the best time to see this, and which direction. I would love to take some photos using a telescope and a time lapse program on my Canon.

It's an interesting hypothesis...but being interesting is different than being necessarily true.

Any suggestion about what shutter speed is best to photograph stars in general? Until now I just photographed the moon, nothing dimmer.

I may not be an expert on diseases but dont viruses need hosts? As in alive so it can wrap itself on living cells.

Unless there are organisms that can survive space and are living in the ice particles of the comet's tail then.... probably not.
