Hello

I have a question regarding the UFO phenomenon / aliens

There are some researchers that have come to the conclusion that atleast some so called "aliens" are in fact inter-dimensional beings more commonly known as "demons".

What do you think of this theory regarding extra-terrestials?

For three decades, I have been a working journalist in America's most interesting (and arguably most corrupt) city. As with old buildings and whores, if you stick around long enough, you become somewhat respectable, and to my utter amazement, I have become the one of the most recognizable and most honored journalist in this wild and wacky state.

I am the chief investigative reporter at KLAS TV, the CBS affiliate in Las Vegas and the premier news organization in Nevada. I also write a weekly newspaper column for Las Vegas City Life, and on weekends, I am a twice-monthly host of the radio show Coast to Coast AM.

I have earned my share of journalistic accolades--some of which will mean nothing to those who aren't in the business--- but a few of which are a source of pride around here. Twice in the past four years, I have been honored with a Peabody Award, the highest honor in broadcast journalism, the Oscar of TV News. (It is unusual for a local TV station to win one and very unusual for the same station to win two.) Earlier this year, our I-Team was also honored with the Dupont Award from Columbia University, which is as big as it gets. My photographer and I have also twice been selected by the Society of Professional Journalists as national winners for our investigative reports. And along the way, I have grabbed 23 regional Emmy Awards for investigative reporting, commentary, environmental reporting, crime reporting, and a few other categories that probably don't mean much to people who might be ready this.

If you know my name but do not live in Nevada, chances are you have seen some of my work on the UFO mystery. In the late 80's, I did the first serious reporting about Area 51 and basically put that mysterious facility on the map. I introduced the world to the claims of Bob Lazar. I became hooked on the UFO topic and have pursued it all over the world. In the 90's, I made two trips to the former USSR and brought back a treasure trove of classified military documents about UFOs. I also was the first UFO researcher to interview late Colonel Phil Corso. And I co-authored the definitive book about the now-infamous Skinwalker Ranch in Utah, have visited two dozen states in pursuit of the animal mutilation mystery, checked out the crop formations in Britain, and produced a series of UFO documentaries called UFOs: The Best Evidence that are considered to be among the best ever produced on the subject.

Herein Nevada, I am known for covering many other--more mainstream topics. For many years, I chronicled the power and decline of organized crime here, tracked down fugitive brothel baron Joe Conforte to his penthouse in Rio De Janiero, traveled to Macau to check out the activities of Las Vegas casino giants, have exposed all manner of official corruption (which is almost like shooting fish in a barrel here), have been a champion on behalf of wild horse herds, and have earned the undying animosity of Nevada power brokers for my stories and columns about the environmental excesses of Nevada developers and their schemes to steal rural groundwater.

I love my job, love coming to work every day, and am eternally grateful to my employer for having the courage to allow me to pursue these kinds of stories, no matter where they lead. I am currently working on a book about former Clark County Sheriff Ralph Lamb, a two-fisted, tough-as-nails lawman whose true life exploits and battles with the mob inspired the CBS TV series "Vegas". I have tried to be serious without taking myself too seriously.

Ask me anything......

Sadly I know not of your work. It might have to do a bit with how media is channeled in this country. Of course other countries may have similarities but I don't know enough to speak on it. I just wanted to ask a simple question to you. The Ufo's that you speak of, do you believe them to be what we call alien or spiritual? There are a lot of debates of this topic on this forum and I'd like your opinion. Truth seems to be we just don't know enough but if you read here you will start to speculate on weather or not these are demons, aliens or just something in between (energy?).

Welcome George,

You and I had a mutual friend back in the 80's. Ned lived in the apartment underneath me at Las Palmas. I spent many evenings sitting at the pool drinking with him and listening to the "mob" stories of the day. I will forever miss his mischievous grin and belly laugh.

I'm sure if Ned were alive today, he would be very proud of the investigative work you have done and the fine journalist that you have become. There are not many journalists left in this world who seek the truth. You sir are one of them.

Thank you for all you do!

Good Day Mr Knapp,

Thank You for the time. I have been trying for YEARS to get through on C2C, which I have been a diehard fan since discovering via an old Platoon Sgt at MCAS EL TORO. He believed in the Night Vision Goggle UFO's at night crowd.

MY Question is To YOU directly Sir,

I feel that Humans from many centuries ago have a space station on the moon. And before the ancient nuclear war, (which was possibly interstellar, imho). And they repopulated earth from there after a period for the earth to "heal"

---->question >-->-- Wouldn't it be grossly negligent to NOT have a station on the moon as a backup for humanity?

I mean any number of Holy Cow scenarios could wipe out or infect mankind rapidly. Having an outpost on the moon sounds very wise.
Or a hidden meteor smash us up, solar flare cooks us, etc..

I will ask the obvious:

How is the story regarding reverse-engineering saucers and possibly even alien technology considered true? How would you prove Bob Lazar is not making up the story about that or sending disinformation, unlike it is by popular belief? How is John Lear believable as well, when he supports also the story of Dulce base being a joint human-alien base - something that was proven by Greg Valdez in a recent book to be false (thus Phil Schneider's story of aliens at Dulce to be also false)

I'm sure you are well aware of Phil Schneider. As I write this we have a discussion going on concerning Phil Schneider.

ATS Discussion/ Phil Schneider

I've followed this guy and his story for a long time. I've actually cried reading what his wife has said about his life and death.

My question: everything I can find on P. Schneider has led me to the opinion that he is the real deal.

Your thoughts ?

Thank-you again for taking your time to talk w/ us. This is soooo cool!!! ;0)

Mr Knapp

Who else besides yourself can we believe is actually interested in disseminating the truth.
The "truth" seems to be in short supply when investigating the paranormal, ufos or high strangeness in general.
There is so much agenda driven BS and disinfo, from so many different sources; that I question if we will ever be given the "truth" or even if there is an ultimate "truth" that humans are capable of understanding.

Hello Mr. Knapp.

First, thank you for the opportunity to ask you questions outside of your usual contact channels.

I do have a question of curiosity of mine that I have had for a very long time, at least since 1994. That is when I first moved to Las Vegas (I have since moved away). I am very familiar with who you are and your work, and often thought about trying to ask you about this.

A few years after I moved to Las Vegas I started to see these objects (lights, during daylight) that would move across the northern part of the Valley from the Nellis AFB area towards the Mercury military base area (I lived in Summerlin at the time) I always thought it was curious, and I observed them, just talking about it with my wife and young children. Then one day in 1999, I believe, I saw this guy on a public access channel who was actually video taping these objects. I was amazed that someone else had noticed. I would later come to find out this was the guy who would later become known as the "Prophet Yahweh". After the public access show, I did not think much more of him, only wishing I had recorded his show just so I could examine the objects more.

Then later, KTNV did a UFO report and the phenomenon appeared to have been captured by an actual news crew, I was a bit amazed at this. And since the rise of Youtube, I had to no longer regret recording what I had originally seen for myself many times.

Now to my question for you. Is this a topic that you have ever researched? Not so much the Prophet Yahweh aspect, but the fact that these objects can be (or used to be) seen in the Vegas skies by anyone who cared to look? I have tried to find anything you may have written or discussed on the topic, given your Las Vegas long time association, but have not found anything. If you did and have links to your reports, that would be fantastic. Most personal research I do links back to Prophet Yahweh and his religious angle, however I know this to personally be a real phenomenon and I highly suspect it has a lot more to do with the proximity of the military assets north of Las Vegas and perhaps a possible Area 51 connection.

In short, I would just like to read more objective research on this topic. Thank you for any consideration and for reading my question.

Thanks for being awesome.

Ned was one of the greatest journalists that ever lived. After his car was blown up, as a joke, one of our neighbors had bumper stickers printed that said "This is not Ned Day's car". Lucky for me the day the mob blew up Ned's car, I didn't park in my assigned parking spot next to Ned.

It was reported that Ned died of a heart attack while snorkeling in Hawaii. To this day I don't believe the "official" story of his death.

Here's a short piece that George wrote about Ned.

The proof is in the pudding not the gong.

Out of all your investigations what verifiable proof have you unconvered to know for sure that 'we are not alone?''

For fun, what's the weirdest "story" (or three) you've heard from a source you judged as possibly credible?

The UFO world has some interesting scenarios (like us being Alien fast soul food, as mentioned, or the moon being a soul trap- don't go into the light!) and as you seem to have decent discernment in regards to crackpots, which tale regarding our reality has kept you up some nights with the "what if?"

And as far as the comment re: your discernment for all the folks that would jump on that comment, the fact you're a successful journalist points to that, as odd as it seems to some people.

And thanks for having the balls to write about this stuff and informing... as this subject, for all it's attached snickers, is likely one of the most important issues for our species.

Mr. Knapp. I love your work. Thanks for taking time to discuss with us. I have a question. I am sure you are tired of talking about Bob Lazar....but. If Bob did snitch on the government, why does his company (United Nuclear) have contracts with the US Military? Wouldn't you think they would stay clear of him> I mean if he was OR wasn't a Whistle Blower, Thanks for your time.

Hello Mr Knapp, it's nice to meet you here at ATS even if it is a bit of a virtual experience,

Would you agree that the animal mutations are the work of the US Government?

Thank you for your time, it is much appreciated.

HELLO MR. KNAPP.. So glad you have taken the time to be with us

Having a military background I have always been fascinated with Area 51 and other strange military facilities..

In regards to your Award Winning article on Area 51, do you think that the Government has changed their protocols for secrecy in regards to those areas due to the vast amount of public interest and new technologies available to the general public?

Or do you think they have just "gone more underground" so to speak?

Also if you have time for a second question..

How far ahead of the general public is the military in your most valued opinion?

Thank you again for your time Sir; it is certainly fantastic to have you here with us..

Hello and welcome Mr. Knapp. welcome to ATS.

Col. Corso mentioned a "time machine" upon a couple of occasions, inferring that it was also back engineered from the crashed saucer. I was curious if perhaps you might have heard anything else about this information.
Or more particularly, if there were anyone in particular that had investigated this type of technologies existence?

Best Regards...
