it wouldn't surprise me and, if they are linked to either country, it would be deemed an attack on american soil and, worse, I Obama would have the honor of being the first US president to have enemy boots on the ground.

As a result, there will be serious consequences.

We will, of course, later learn that the intel was shoddy, at best, but it will, again, be deemed unimportant since the end game was the removal of Iranian nukes and secured US oil interests.

If Obama is really looking for a reason for war in Iran and Syria an attack on Israel that can be blamed on either or both would do it.

There are Islamic groups that want to provoke this war. They thought they had succeeded with the gas attack.

IF they attack Israel, Syria and/or Iran can be blamed the game is on again.

One dead, possibly two more down and Obama said we are confronted with another mass shooting so, perhaps, he'll use this in his gun crackdown instead of desire to use guns overseas.

That is what I was thinking after looking at all of the still unconfirmed reports. This stinks, and smells like a way to shift focus back to the domestic gun control agenda.

Unless there are some clear ties to foreign terrorist involvement, that seems to be where this is headed.

Seriously. I'm wondering if he's trying to cover all his ineptitude and scandals with a war. His legacy would be better off without all the attention on the crap he's pulled at home. Or maybe it's so he can help his Muslim Brotherhood buddies. Or maybe he just wants to bring America down. Whatever it is .. he is hell bent on doing it.

The world war is from US point of view needed to cover up the stealing from all the world in the Ponzi printing money scheme that is imploding due to the extreme loans US also has. If US can't wipe the debt away with some kind of peace with China and Russia where the debt goes away then the US is screwed.

So Obama plays bully to try to get a fix for Russia and China saying it is time to pay up and we are gonna get something for the money you have borrowed and stolen from the rest of the world. US is going down no matter what. Either by a bang or by a total economic collapse. Karma.

BUT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE voiced a big 'NO' ... and Obama's ego couldn't take Americans not adoring him ... and Congress was clearly going to say 'NO' ... the only reason we aren't in the middle of World War III right now is because Kerry gaff'd and Putin jumped on it and saved the planet.

He had no intention of waiting for the UN. HE SAID SO.
He got stuck with having to because of Kerry's GAFF.

He didn't go to the congress on his own. He said he didn't need them.
He got stuck going to congress BECAUSE AMERICA DEMANDED IT.

Now he's turned his war gaze on Iran. He's already prepping ... saying that 'it's in Americas interest' and that he'll hit Iran like he planned to hit Syria. The SOB is out of control.

The article seems a bit sensational.
First of all, Iran has a new president who is more moderate and already has reached out a hand to the west.
There have been no talks yet but letters were exchanged so there is a start.
Furthermore, it is really easy to put Iran into a corner saying, he is the bad guy who wants to make 'the bomb' and attack Israel or the US, as if iranians have no brain and live only for destruction..
More than once Iran has stated that this is not the case, but they also did not allow foreign inspectors to investigate it's nucear program.
Russia has already made it clear in the beginning of August that this has to change, it can no longer be postponed.

All in all, we will see a diplomatic route with Iran, no bombing.

Sounds like Obama is 'hoping' for Russia to negotiate a settlement with Iran.

Afterall, it worked so well when Kerry tried it !!

Correct. The war with Syria, Iraq, Iran with Afghanistan being a bonus was hatced up well before Bush Senior even though it did not become public until Bush Juniors axis of evil speech. These plans have been in the works for some time now and Obama is just another puppeteer in a long line of puppets doing the bidding of some evil bloodthirsty people.
