This is a video project aimed to capture the aging process of a person.
It began with photographing siblings (from youngest cousins to oldest relatives, keeping members who had the most similar bone structure), then
morphing/animating the photos to make them as lifelike as possible.
Being in my late 60's I find the video a little exaggerated to what a 60 year old looks like. The people my age look like that or somewhat better.
Course we all age differently but I always thought those of asian decent aged better.
I would say she aged closer to 70.
Then the young have an altogether different stereotyped image of what old is...and I do understand they used family images to age her.
Having no artistic talent whatsoever myself, I was fascinated by the development. I watched for change to the nose, ears, eyes and cheeks, but they
were so very subtle weren't they? I thought it was wonderfully done. Really enjoyed it, OP. Thanks.
