This is the first time I have ever posted in this forum. I have perused threads over the years regarding this "chupacabra". So in this video, these men are sure they may have shot one and it shows the picture of the dead animal. I am not sure?? But I wanted to put it out there for those that are interested in these types of topics.

I am gonna post the link. Sorry but there is an annoying commercial before the video starts.

The hunter looks too dumb to be making up a story.

Nice catch...

Most times I've heard of these things it's ended up being an animal with mange...

Which ultimately leads me to this.. I don't think we have any REAL classification for what defines a chupacabra

Just saying

Too dumb to perceive reality rather than the moonshine addled visions that knuckle dragger may be having, yes...

To make up a story ? Nahhh...not too dumb at all!

I don't wanna convince anyone.
But i can't see this Chupacabra Issue with these strange "Dogs" anymore.
AFAIK Chupacabras appear mostly in Costa Rica. and not in Texas or else where.

I will wait for the DNA results.

Why didn't the video show a whole body shot? We see the head and hind quarters, separately. There seems to be a mangled skin growth on it's back, but again, couldn't tell because we never really see it.

I have seen foxes with mange. They didn't lose all their hair like this animal. Just large patches of hair and rough skin maybe. However, I am no expert, obviously.

That is a strange looking dog....

I've seen a video of a similar looking dog-like creature, but this thing wasn't quite the same. It looked like it had an unusually long snout.

So it was suggested that it was a just a dog/coyote with mange, but the 'locals weren't having any of it'.
How many locals are there, the farmer and the guy that shot it, that's two. :p

I'm not an expert on dogs, but it looks like a coyote to me. A google image search even turns up dozens of images of coyotes with mange which look just like what that guy shot, a lot also labelled as a chupacabra.
Just find it difficult to understand why the guy thought its not a dog with mange as soon as he shot it. It'd been far more rational.
I reckon we should leave bullet proof armour in the forests now, so at least bigfoot will have a chance these days.

Lots of animals can look quite odd or unfamiliar when naked, like this scienceblogs.com...
Almost think its a troll or missing link that just crawled out of its cave.

I'm still open to the dog/coyote with mange theory. Whomever, one thing that i can't denie is that people who saw those animals described them as really fast runners (outspeeding a car some times) which doesn't make sense. After all, mange is a didsease, and anybody with a disease cannot run that fast.

My best bet is that is some kind of hybrid between wolves/dogs and coyotes. It woudl explain the hair and face anhormalities.
