Yup, sounds interesting. Is there a mass movement planned by the twitter and Smartphone crowd? And why that day, etc..?

That's three days away. It takes more than three days for a flu epidemic to ramp up.
Not gunna' happen.

That is strange, my white pine tree just told me I will be making pine needle tea in a couple of days
I've had a lot of mucus in my lungs and nose for three weeks now but haven't got around to making tea to treat it.
I think that is what is refered to laziness.

You are subject zero then, the one with whom the outbreak starts. At least we know who started the outbreak now!

I am quite sure that on the 17th Sept there will be many people around the world call in sick due to the 'flu. Just as there will be many people around the world reporting that it is raining. Or they saw the Sun rise. Or they have a hangover. Or they need time off work to attend a family funeral. Or discussing something they saw on TV the night before.

Now, if there was a day when none of this happened. THAT would be a miracle .....

Something tells me this will have more to do with the release of GTA V and not some sudden onset of a world wind flu pandemic that would mean the end of mankind.

Honestly, thats what will happen, most anticipated entertainment release ever, it will be like a world cup final, everyone will phone in with the "flu".

As long as that doesn't extend to delivery drivers, I'll be happy. I have a new computer with a GTX 760 in it arriving that day and all set for the release.

I'd take it kinda personal if someone's "flu day" meant I had to wait two days...since Wednesday is all day at school.

* The game and the computer are a coincidence ...but my first new comp in a few years is coming Tuesday.. Finally.
