Just thought I'd throw it out there and see if there's any other amateur music producers around?

I turned to Ableton around 6 months ago and at first didn't have a clue what I was doing, but after a while have managed to slowly release a couple of dubstep/electronic style tracks and have released them on Sound Cloud.

Feel free to have a listen to some of my work if you're on SoundCloud:

soundcloud.com...

And drop us a link in here if you have some of your own tunes and I'll gladly give them a listen too.

Hey

I produce on studio one by presonus its a cool daw. I'm in a indie rock band so I mainly produce demos of tracks to show the band but I have produced electro and drum n bass too.

I used to produce on logic and pro tools on a g5 and then on Cubase for years so I'm pretty familiar with daws lol. Specially when I consider I had reason rewired to protools back in the day, and I started producing at 18 on an early version of fruity loops which is now the number one daw in the word!!!

I'll give yr track a listen after work.
Big up all producers

I produce on strictly hardware, no computers involved at all.
Mainly samplers. What I usually use in my tracks are Akai s3000xl, Ensoniq EPS 16+ and a Roland S-550. But also cheap synths and homebuilt stuff. Outboard efx, like old spring reverbs and delays.

I record direct to tape (cassette tape) for that warm fuzzy sound. Also, cassette tape has some nice compression to it.
