And as I mentioned in that one, in my opinion when you ignore all the shadowy conspiracies, or the real nutty theories about things like this whole Syria milarky and look at grounded motives for it all... this one explanation definitely rings true.

War and death to protect their back pockets, or heck even to protect the back pocket of some other damn person... the levels these people will drop too
