I have a friend that works there, yesterday he said guards at the gates are now carrying M16's besides sidearms.. Could be nothing..could be something, thought I'd let everyone know.

Defense contractor. Obama is trying to drag us into WWIII. Makes sense.
Kudos to Lockheed Martin for taking the precautions that they are.

Interesting. I figured they always had carried both. I am guessing you are talking about Dobbins Base? I live nearby and can easily re-route my commute to drive by the gate. May drive by to check it out today. I have done a bit of work on that base but don't recall seeing any assault rifles being carried by anyone. Granted my work was all on data storage equipment but I did have to go through a couple gates and have clearance to get in there.
