No doubt false information will always plague the news, and too boot it is the AP. Even state run Syrian news is reporting this, although their story is a bit different, what we do know is this Christian village continues to be attacked by rebels and Al Qaeda.

I am all about the conspiracy theories here. If Iran wanted to keep Assad in power and with Assad's complicity, they would order the Al Quadia to attack christian villages to produce fear in the west as to the alternatives of a Syrian power vacuum.

Right now the fear of Al Quadia being able to operate with impunity is the number one reason being sold to americans against the strikes against Assad. The administrations incompetence and Al Quadia being blamed for the gas attacks are being sold as primary deterrent to citizen support for american strikes. Christians are being killed even. Solution.....keep Assad in power with american public support by virtue of the fear of Al Quadia.

If Assad fell tomorrow it would only be a week or so before Al Nusra and the FSA started fighting in my opinion.

Ugh new ATS is back.

Al Qaeda and the FSA have always been fighting. Do a search for Al Qaeda killing a FSA commander. But you're right, if Assad falls the war will continue between the Syrians and terrorists, just like every other Middle Eastern nation.
