Now, EVERYONE knows I HATE, HATE remakes, I DESPISE remakes, not a single new thought in the heads of Hollywod, BUT....I just watched the trailer for the Robocop reboot that will be released in 2014, and I actually LIKE it. Looking forward to seeing it

I seriously watched robocop for the first time yesterday and was thinking if there was going to be a remake.

Now I seen this!

The world is a mysterious place indeed.

Robocop was something of my childhood. It was a timed fad of the age.

I think they want to revitalize it this time around to inspire vigilantes.

I seen this trailer the otherday on youtube. I thought to myself, WHY?

And on your rant about hating remakes? LOL when they finally make a theatracal release of "Gilligan's Island" we will know the end is near.

Arrghh... the first time wasn't enough?

Hollywood >>> Original ideas > Remakes > Comic books > more Remakes.

He had a child in the original, along with a wife I believe

Man... this really bums me out. Where's the grittiness? The atmosphere? This all just looks like some superhero rehash.

Why make a remake of a movie that's still enjoyable? It's not like the original is black and white. I watch that movie about four times a year.

On another note, the original story happened in a ruined Detroit... Makes you wonder when we see what has happened to Detroit in the last few years...
