Then there's my somersault :
OK I'll describe it, it was described as quite spectacular. Full sprint forward and kicked ball at same time as ball blocked. Full 360 forward
somersault with half twist, rotating around my shoulders so at half way my feet are 10 feet high, at this point (in super slow motion in my brain) I
thought "this is going to be sore". Landed full force on right hand side and was black from bruising from hip to ankle for weeks.
Forgot to add: being an amateur I did not roll around but lay where I landed for 15 seconds then carried on playing.....a bit slowly at
