Agreed. If one were to look at this link, one would see an INCREDIBLE list of horrors that had occurred before the second election from this current administration. There were so many additional horrors that occurred after the second election that it became too much to keep track of. Nonetheless...look around and make up your own minds.

evolvedministry.wordpress.com...

We need to really dissect the current direction of this country and then weigh the effects of our collective actions to see the sheer DAMAGE that we have wrought upon our civilization. Many people don't want to look into the proverbial mirror, that's why it is so much easier to simply point the finger outward so that one can maintain their illusion of self-righteousness and piety.

Lets make this distinction which is intentionally blurred by the establishment.

Government IS NOT country. Thats right, your government is not America.

I'm America, youre America.

The American government is comprised of lying, dishonest, politicians who are slaves to lobbyists, special interests and political action committees. They could care less about the American people.

To take it a step further Americans say: "We went to the moon", "We dropped the bomb on Japan...", "We went into Vietnam...". All these sort of claims lead each American in a wrong direction psychologically. It may be in some way forgivable for older Americans who were alive during the time these acts occurred to say this, but for Americans born after those dates to say: "We did this, we did that..etc", appears the result of successful conditioning of nationalism towards some end for the wealthy and powerful.

I clicked on your link not so sure it'd a great source of information. After the endless tirade about Obama. I clicked the first horrendous link. "Senate Approves Bill that Legalizes Sodomy and Bestiality in U.S. Military" What that headline fails to mention that military justice code groups homosexuality, bestiality, and sodomy into one group. Which I'm taking a wild guess is the homosexuality part being illegal is why itwas repealed, and beastility is still against the law anyways!

Agree.

I am for Isolationism.

I know its not the common agreement, but thats me. They say China was hampered for a long time because of it.

I think with just enough trade, keeping to ourselves, we can have a great nation once again. The World doesn't need a crooked cop policing. When things get out of control, we need to really seriously think if this Country should get involved. Like it used to be.

Your description of the link is irrelevant. The information in the links and the executive orders that were passed is what one should focus on.

Additionally, all of the scandals which occurred in the 1st administration is listed.

I find that MANY people focus on an attempt of debunking or to criticize WITHOUT looking at the information which has been released. ALL MEDIA is slanted, and those who are partisan based usually are the first to claim their sources better as opposed to seeing the information for what it is.

Nonetheless, the link points to a singular idea. Our government has gone awry, and I'm not for sure how many SOURCES you need out there to prove what is OBVIOUS.

By the way...THERE ARE SEVERAL DIFFERENT SOURCES LISTED. So, you might want to go through them instead of finding fault. I'm sure you'll approve of at least a few. If not, then you weren't meant to be "pleased" by them. You were meant to be INFORMED.

Talk to you later...

I hear your sentiment..truth is the Republic was lost long ago. The idea of America is still there in spirit....the body has long since died. It saddens me to feel the way I do about the nation I love. But we are a war mongering society..whether killing others in so called wars or killing each other off here at home. Yea, the Republic has died.

If you and I get in a fist fight and someone on scene tweets it out and some random person across town reads about it and promptly heads over and just arbitrarily decides who is right and who is wrong and knocks one of us out... what is their justification for getting involved? None...

You just summed up every single war America has entered by comparing it to, twitter....
The comparison itself is uncanny~

Were humanitarians to the entire world, when we need to be humanitarians in our own boarders and fix "our's" first.

How can we fix someone else's shoddy economy, civil affairs when our crap smells and the country were supposedly helping doesn't even want us there in the first place...

Sure, the war will supposedly "stimulate" the American Economy but then again a 12yr war has done the exact opposite.

Bah, I digress again...

I'd say most of the wars were actually fought to support the economy and the petrodollar, the whole humanitarian stuff was just smoke and mirrors. Per se the dollar isn't worth all that much with all the debt the US has, but if you can back it up a la "You will use our currency to sell your oil/whatever. If you don't, we will bring freedom and democracy to your country and then the next government will use our currency..."
Yep, that certainly is a stabilizing factor.

The VERY FIRST link is misleading, why should I bother clicking the other links. Your saying all media is misleading and slanted but your using links that use misleading media. That is the irony.

No, you're just misrepresenting it...and for good reason (but, we're not going to go into that).
Which means, you might be the one who is attempting to "mis-lead."

Not only Americans but lots and lots of people all around the world as well. And they will continue to do so since to many people anything that hasn't been reported in the TV or the newspaper simply doesn't exist, no matter how often you tell them about it. Even if certain things later turn out to be true (meaning they finally got reported in the MSN), many simply refuse to acknowledge or even think about them.
So, to these people anyone who critizises the US or any other country for things that haven't been reported in the MSN is flat out lying and badmouthing the country.

our men in office seam to take no responsibility for there actions. they now seam to think because the american people are taking this in stride the whole world should too. about to brake international law. and think there is not going to be any repercussions from the world. A lot of people would say i guess im ANTI-american this is not the case. To me it would be anti-American to fight along side of AL-Q and All this support and money going to the Muslim brotherhood. that is Anti-American. breaking our constitutional laws that is anti-American. Being part of the NSA or TSA that is Anti-American

Its true.

Lots of love to americans but its the complacency that pisses people off. The winge factor. Americans seem to talk a lot but not move off of their A## to do anything, Yeah the government doesn't listen to you anyway, but still, if I lived in the US I would be harassing some lawmakers..

I find that people are anti american in their comments because its usually people from the US advocating war and invasion of places they cant identify on a map.

I was more having a rant about how Americans themselves do this to other Americans. We're in a unique position here at the moment. Everyone is opposing this war/military action with Syria... left and right wing alike. I just fear the unified front is getting pock marked, some people seem to have a tolerance limit for how critical some can be of American policy, especially foreign policy and more especially drivers ($) of policy. My aim simply is to say those of us that criticize beyond the government aren't anti-American, we love our country as much as they do.

It`s not politically correct to point out faults, we have an entire generation that was raised to believe that you`re a hater if you point out unethical or illegal faults of others.
Perhaps that was the plan all along, to create a generation that would find it unacceptable to point out the faults of others and of the government. A perfect generation of sheeple who would just meekly accept anything that the government does without saying anything.
The whole acceptance and tolerance political correctness fad has caused a lot of people to think that they should accept and tolerate anything the government does even if it`s illegal or unethical.

I agree with you, but this is in need of 'reframing' in order ot be less (lol) 'hateful'.

Waving your finger in someones face and telling them whats wrong with them does more harm then good. I think most of us can think of a time when this was done to us (at work, at home, yadda, yadda). Did it cause you to look at your behavior and/or change it? Probably not.

Direct confrontation just causes the system (object confronted) to react in an equal and opposite reaction. One need to use a less direct approach to be effective. Direct confrontation only works at the right time, with the right people, and the right circumstances. The timing of such interventions requires a level of Wisdom that few possess and even less possess all the time.

You can still point out and resist unskillful behavoir in two ways: Clearly state your opinion of the behavoir (not the person or people) and model better behavoir. Backing off works!

We are a people who blame and will do anything to put the 'blame' onto someone else regardless of facts. I have to learn to stop this behavior before I can tell anyone else how to behave. I have to stop blaming others even when the action was theirs and offer solutions.

There is a big difference between blame and responsiblity. And I would say we socialize for lack of responsibility.

Superiors blame minions for mistakes, minions blame their spouses for theirs and so on. We need to learn to accept responsiblity for ourselves on individual and collective levels.

"This is your Fault" doesn't help. "Maybe this can help..." helps.

It's hard to figure out solutions that you, the individual, can do for these big problems, it takes effort and one must conserve ones effort. Don't get mad, either leave a subject alone or do something. As Thom Hartmann says "Tag, you're it..."

We are all in this thing together, we are all human and share the same failings. Regardless of where we reside.
It would seem that the sh*t always floats to the top. We are ruled by floaters. Regardless of the country we call home. One thing that seperates US citizens from the rest of the western world is the right to bear arms.

While I agree with your sediment (oh gosh - how do you spell it correctly? - I don't mean dirt), I can't help but be disappointed in your phasing.

Being an American includes Canadians, Mexicans, El Salvadornians, Brazilians, Chileans, etc. There are a lot of other 'States' in the Americas that aren't included in the "United".

The name American as commonly used to denote US Citizens is offensive to many including myself.

We have to change our thought and speech patterns and I for one would love an easier way of saying US Citizen, because I often find myself falling into using this offensive term. I do realize that's it's 'common usage' but it's elitist and arrogant.

Any ideas folks
