Screw running, learn to drive. Really big trucks or armored vehicles.

Especially on the Walking Dead, where they are never out of gas for some reason.

Well, you have to admit, according to the series the spread of the plague was fast, so there would be plenty of gas around. And ammo, and suppressors, and weapons, etc, etc.

I'll admit that most people don't know how to operate military machinery, much less maintain it. But come on, they're Zombies! A big rig out-fitted Mad Max style and support vehicles and they would have it made.
