Works for me now, but a couple of hours ago none of the youtube videos would play. I thought maybe there was an issue with my laptop, so I restarted, and voila....working videos.

You're North FL, I'm Tampa region. Maybe it's your service provider, assuming that's the common link. Or regional routing could be glitchy. Either way, it's definitely not down down.

Pretty much if it's a world war. and every country is involved and there are massive power disruptions and services are intermitant and flakey due to the nature of the power outages. Or if they hit the arctic chambers where they keep the internet, off the coast of greenland.

I was getting the same error, Though if I refreshed it about 3 times it worked fine. I wonder if this has to do with the copyright stuff they implemented, either they are adding more to it, or somebody is finally trying to have youtube.
