just clicked on this thread, looking at the flight radar, and the flight seems to have disappeared, tried again and gives me a "playback". has the flight gone down?

I've also just noticed that the flight has disappeared. Odd giving that I use this app to follow flights relatives are on frequently. Never has one disappeared, glitch or not?

Second time this particular flight has disappeared. First time it was gone for about 50 minutes to an hour. It stayed on course through the first disappearance.

So either a faulty transponder or a genuine incident. I don't know which is more likely

And a drill last week, nah just a coincidence
Russian, NORAD air forces cooperate in exercise tracking hijacked plane over Alaska, Russia

OVER ALASKA — Flying at 34,000 feet over the Bering Strait, the Russian pilots had a singular focus: making sure they smoothly received the hand-off of a “hijacked” jetliner from their U.S.-Canadian counterparts.t

I doubt they will let get near populated areas. They would be afraid of a 9/11 type incident.

Dun dun dun.... plot thickens. These drills seem to manifest into reality sometimes.
As i stated before i hope this is a mistake and we all forget about it tom.

Yep it will all be ok , just a glitch in the system
These 'drills' never coincide with real events
