Suggestion: "Reply to" alert: to let you know when someone replies to your message!

I'd love to see a feature on ATS where I could receive a private message each time someone specifically chooses to "reply to" one of my messages.

Maybe it's just me, but I often find it hard to keep track of the ongoing conversations on here, and this would be a feature that might just make it that much easier.

Thoughts?

That's helpful. I used to just cruise My ATS watching all the topics that pop to the top.

Still though, a real time alert would be a nice feature. Like a pop-up rather than having to guess if it's worth going to the message centre. I find it frustrating when someone's replied to you 20 minutes earlier and by the time you catch it, they've gone offline. It slows the debate and before you know it, your reply is buried between 50 others.

Don't feel bad, I have been here 9 years, and just realized this last year that there is already a system for letting you know when you have been replied to.


Talk about missing years worth of replies....glad I finally found it....lol

I'm glad you posted this, I had this thought just the other day. So, I went and checked it out, and I had a lot of replies to delete. to make it easier to keep up with. It will be a lot easier to keep up with threads, knowing this.

Yeah, my chat doesn't work either, but it's all good.
