Giant Boulder Almost Crushes Car - Taiwan

With all the talk of strang and developing weather on our planet, I have recently been keeping an eye out for "unusual" incidents and I certainly think I found one for your viewing pleasure.

August 2013, Taiwan. Over that last couple of years (2012) it has been suggested that Taiwan has been experiencing severe weather more often. Heavier rains, increased ground saturation and fewer days of sunshines.

All this presumably has culminated in an environment ripe for land/mud slides. Check out this video:



Talk about lucky! One moment driving by a McDonald's built into the mountain side thinking, man I would love to bury myself into some burgers, when the next thing you know, your almost crushed by a cartoonish sized rock!

I bet he is. Once he breaks the suction between his butt and that seat.

You can see from the 00:02 mark, at the top of the mountain, the boulder break away - it must have picked up some speed on it's way down and that driver is lucky there appears to be a ridge between him and the mountain, probably slowing the huge chunk of rock...

Scary stuff!

This happened where I live in PA. on 28, but it did kill the driver in that incident.

Spielberg directed that, right? Holy crap!

Geez.

Talk about a rocky start to your morning drive.... heheheh...

I was thinking he probably had a life flash before his eyes type situation, but in all reality with the way the car skidded before hand the driver probably wasn't even looking that direction. They're so lucky to have this recorded. Definitely a nice drinking story!
