It's apparent by my name that I am male, but you can see a side view of my head in my avatar... (I'm talking to a puppet... )

I also think that the gender code in the sidebar would be a great idea. It would give everyone a greater insight and understanding into the thoughts of others...

I also think it's wierd how SO has not poked his head in here yet... maybe he's developing the feature as we speak?

i was wondering, building on infinites gender icon idea, why not have mini flags in your user profile????
To save bandwidth why not only make the gender and flag features avaible to those who've been here 4 months??????

This was a good thread, its nice to be able to put a face with the names. I was kinda suprised at the gender of a couple, but most you can tell after reading a few of their posts
