It isn't about the Syrian people, either... or the American people, for that matter.

It appears to be about trying to sway people to carry the water for yet another useless military poke into someone else's business.

Exactly, this about sums it up and why I, (can't speak for any other American) have just about had it with what we hear on the news and from our government as to what is "truth". Could it be that we are worn out and sick of being 'told" what we "should" do only to learn after the fact that the "truth" wasn't exactly true? Been there done that, anyone?

This thread op is silly

Together we can defeat nonsense
In a opinionated front
If we unified our efforts

Our viewpoints will win

In Italy the Pope read a "war never again" message.

He called for fasting and prayer for peace this Saturday.

The second half talks about how gas prices in Italy
have already gone up. And how gas supply could
become a problem.

China has expressed grave concern after the
US Senate back a draft resolution for use of
force on Syria.

Speaking on Wednesday the Foreign Ministry
said the priority should be to find a
diplomatic solution.

"We emphasis that a political solution is
the only way out for the Syria crisis."

- Hong Lei: Spokesman

He says it will complicate the crisis and
provoke more conflicts in the Middle East.

The headline in Beijing Wednesday said
that Obama is "scared to strike Syria" and
that he is having trouble keeping his eyes
open, a phrase that means he is hesitating.

soon against President Bashar al Assad's
forces.

Every time America uses a big lie
to attack. They used a big lie
in Iraq, and Libya.

Gas prices have hit a new high in
India over fears of a strike on Syria.

This thread is now 6 days old.

The morrow will be the one week anniversary.

The question: Is anyone starting to see . . .
how the public was played right into
all the hesitance and uncertainty?
How DEMANDING action would have
exposed everything.

"He who Hesitates is lost":
- "Swift and resolute action leads to success; self- doubt is a prelude to disaster.

The proverb goes back to 'Cato' by English essayist and poet Joseph Addison. First attested in the United States in 'The Autocrat of the Breakfast Table" by Oliver Wendell Holmes."

If we would have DEMANDED military action,
it would have shocked the lies right out of the
system.

The public has been played hard, and the new
calculus includes conspiracy thinkers. All the
hesitation was a key ingredient.

Are we seriously going to let them game us
when the issue is chemical weapons.

We should be screaming for action and
recalling every single no vote.

Mike

No the issue is truth.

With that said Im removing myself from the rantings of a closed minded rambler, who seems to think he is teaching, yet will not learn from the opinion of anyone else.

Good luck on your crusade, because damn, you will really need it.

Only one of the two following people is manipulating the public,
full of innuendo for effect, and on the wrong side of history.

Choose.

Putin calls John Kerry a liar and pathetic before G20,

Russia warns of nuclear disaster if Syria is hit,

First he calls Kerry pathetic,
then he threatens nukes.

Hey Putin!

Put this in your pipe and smoke it.
