When I was born, the US was embroiled in the midst of the Vietnam War. It has been at war with one country or another ever since. WW3? Hell, What with the war on drugs, war on poverty, war on homelessness....I've been at war since I was born. What's one more country. Just another day, another bogeyman to chase. Gotta keep the machine oiled with the blood of someone, right?

I have long had a passion for my professions of psychology (PhD in Clinical Psych) and my minor in sociology.

I find it deeply fascinating to watch and understand more about individual and group psychologies and their behavioral correlations . . . and consequences . . . particularly as they relate to the Biblical END TIMES and Biblical prophecies.

The OP was started out of the motives and purposes as I stated in the OP. I'm seriously curious about how ATSers are handling the Syria situation and information--emotionally, psychologically, behaviorally and interpersonally.

You are not compelled to believe THE TRUTH about me or anything else.

However, if one doesn't believe the truth, then sooner or later, reality has a habit of taking a big bite out of one's rear or other tender places.

I'm handling it just fine. I realize that this is the most threatening situation we've faced in a long time. I never once thought too much about North Korea when KJU was throwing his tantrum. Pres Obama has painted himself into a corner and must take action. He literally has no choice. I was kinda hoping that Israel would just lob a bomb over there but that would just make the situation worse.

I work in a military environment and know many service members. The overall attitude is tense.

Maybe you understand me better than your earlier post indicated.

I recall agreeing with Xuen Chen on some posts.

I don't know that I could characterize his stance as any particularly thing. He seems to cover a wide diversity of topics.

I don't even know that I could assert with any significant confidence that he's born Chinese or born Caucasian westerner.

He evidently has a legal Chinese name. That's a wise move in China.

I hope he'll see this thread and comment.

He seems to be more astute, on average, than most Americans and than many Chinese. Not sure what that means other than that he's more astute than the average bear.

I don't know how well connected he is in China.

I knew a number of folks who seemed to know a lot more than the average bear.

But then I have had a lifelong habit of asking LOTS of interesting questions of most folks I come in contact with. I'm sure lots of Chinese thought I was an agent of the U.S. when I was just being me with intense interests in a wide diversity of directions.

A Party member was a close friend. He said I knew more than most of the party members he was in contact with knew. That surprised me.

I think Xuen Chen could add interesting insights to the OP questions. I hope he does.

Yeah. My social network's military relatives and friends are saying similar things. Some are saying point blank that WW3 is "at the door" so to speak.

I think those are valid points.

However, they do not deal with the global oligarchy/cabal's DETERMINED application of all means to achieve UN AGENDA 21 DEPOPULATION goals of forcing the population down to 200-500 million.

That's more than a slight escalation of their warmongering, powermongering schemes of previous decades.

WOW.

That just boggles my mind.

There's say 25 or so individuals from young adults to old fogy's like me in my craft class.

5 years ago . . . maybe only 40% or so of the older ones would have owned being concerned about the darkening clouds geopolitically in terms of globalism etc.

Now, all of them do.

And, interestingly . . . maybe 30-50% of the younger folks do.

That, imho, is a big change.

Now, with Syria . . . all the older adults are seriously concerned about WW3.

Most are prepping as well as they can.

And btw, I really don't like the idea of a force coupled with France.

I do not trust France and about a year ago had an odd dream about the country supporting us in a joint military venture.

The particulars. We formed some sort of partnership with France. Every thing looked to be okie dokie.

We came under attack on OUR soil. People of different nationalities were literally gunning for us in our own homes. Air attacks, storming cities, the whole bit. In the dream I am thinking what the hell is going on here. The particular location where I was at the time was engaged in an active attack. The entire thing was even playing out on TV, too.

A voice in the dream said, and this the exact line, "France did not tell you?"

Worth pointing out that I was in my teens during the 1980s .....

Back then, we really did think a nuclear war was likely. And talked about it. A lot. Even as kids. But I guess you had to be there.

WWIII just isn't on the agenda of everyday concerns for most folk these days.

We don't even worry about terrorist attacks anymore, like we did back in the 70s, 80s and 90s when, again, they were a real and present concern.

Frankly, in Britain at least, we've never felt safer ....

I have been on ATS a lot more as of recent watching the situation develop.

My girlfriend is very anxious and doesn't really want to know!

Me and several of my pals are in the reserves and to be honest have been waiting for a call up, but since the UK vote on the matter it doesn't look like this will happen, thank my lucky stars!

Also there has been quite a lot of moronic statements on my facebook newsfeed from people who believe everything the media feeds them.

Just a bit concerned about the Russians and Chinese atm...

I have just now really convinced my other half to prepare....we now are getting several gallons of water each week and putting them in our closet, we are stocking our house with canned food and from then till this madness starts eat fresh food. Batteries and flashlights and water purification kits..several knives and a single handgun. I hope we are okay for what ever happens.

in the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, & now.

"Duck and cover" was not a fun prospect in the 1950's.

Then in 1965, in my Univ Library job as active head of the Special Collections Dept, I had to deal with all the breadth and depth of the globalist conspiracy stuff housed in my dept. . . . What an eye-opener that was. . . .

And coupling that with Biblical END TIMES prophecies has been a task of mine all these years since.

And the globalists' strategies have been making progress apace whether exactly on their original timeline, or not.

And now Syria. The Biblical prophecies are not good for Damascus. It will cease to exist as a city lived in, at all. It will be a heap of ruins. That much is CERTAIN. When is not so precisely certain, at all.

But the oligarchy sure seems to be ramping things up big time . . . it would seem that the Destroyer in Chief consenting to get Congress' approval may signal some delay in the start-date of WW3.

PTL for that. But it won't be tooooo long a delay, at its longest, imho.

Folks who take willfully blind comfort in any delays will be grieved at such cluelessness far too soon, regardless.

For the last 20+ years, . . . in some respects, the last 50+ years . . .

increasing numbers (100's) of Christians around the world have had dreams and visions of massive military attacks on the USA Mainland . . . and foreign troops doing devastating things within our borders.

Even most Christians have considered such things curiosities that didn't impact their daily lives much.

Some have been preparing for decades.
