Over the past year, with the evangelically charged U.S. election, the creationism movement has gained new momentum along with an increase in posts here on ATS. From a purely objective standpoint, the issue of an organized group seeking to diminish or replace a widely accepted scientific topic with one of pure philosophy and faith fits the description of a "conspiracy".

The evolution theory is widely accepted in the academic circles up to the point where it can be considered by some a fact. Science, as a method of investigation, offers explanations of various degrees of certainty, which is not based on mere faith alone. Nevertheless, scientific theory holds its position within the domain of science and those who do science. Any theory in its broader sense is good upon its acceptance, which cannot be forced the way mainstream society has the tendency to do. Many people got enough of the messiahs of science and their lay interpretation of what is true and what is false. The attempted enslavement of human spirit and its right to chose is another dictatorial attempt that, ironically, supports the evolution of human species. Study certain communities of land mammals and you will observe similarities between them and our society.

While I would not argue with your last point, that many communities of animals share distinct similarities with humanity. I would say that all species are going to have many things in common, but also many glaring differences. To say the "theory" of evolution can be considered a fact is getting a bit a head of yourself. The truth is the theory of evolution has failed on multiple levels to explain many things, the same way creation has big question marks. The truth is we can never dis prove, nor prove how the universe and life came into being. Nobody has even ever gotten close. I'm sorry if that sounds cynical, but it's a fact. Darwin himself, even regretted ever advocating the theory of evolution. He actually began to believe in God before he died! Now you may think that, this is human nature in war times, during near death experiences we see many turn to God, as the old saying goes, "there are no atheists on the battlefield". But What if it's more than just a fear of the unknown? What If it takes life to break us down, to see through the lies and realize man cannot live without God. It is actually a yearning deep inside our souls. It's the very reason atheism has even exploded into intense debate with creationists, and man is desperately seeking to disprove God's existence, why? Because you only show that kind of emotional resistance to something you know is true! it's the only way it's easier to not wrestle with your thoughts at night, the only way to give yourself an EXCUSE to dismiss a sense of right and wrong, and to look in the mirror. ( please note- when I say "you" Im saying this within the context of humanity, meaning me as well.
God Himself has created this life to be a mystery that requires faith, self denial and a true seeking of the heart to find the truth. And even than we will still never fully know 100% that God exists. but as our faith grows, our soul begins to grow stronger and realize there is so much authenticity and truth in the bible, everything is written there! I kid you not. This is not me trying to evangelize you, it's me encouraging you to not waste your time searching for answers where there is none to be found. The wisdom of man is misguided horribly. We're actually DE EVOLVING because we've told God to get out of our schools, our laws, our countries, our lives- and he respects free will so he's allowing it, but in return we have allowed human pride , and zealousness to create nuclear weapons to wipe eachother out, yep we're so brilliant we've done that! Science itself when truly investigated with an open heart always leads back to the realization that nothing alive can come from something dead. Things do not just appear by random chance out of oblivion. We are not just recycled accidents of the universe that took form and began even having consciousness to explore our origins. Everything is cause and effect, evolution conveniently doesn't even address these issues.

Here was a journalized event during Darwin's final months on his death bed. Please note the end quote where he says "People made a religion of them" he never even realized how his theory would be taken so seriously, because even at the end he realized it was simply that, a flesh and blood man with a "theory"

Then, placing his finger on certain passages, he commented on them.

I made some allusions to the strong opinions expressed by many persons on the history of the Creation, its grandeur, and then their treatment of the earlier chapters of the Book of Genesis.

He seemed greatly distressed, his fingers twitched nervously, and a look of agony came over his face as he said: "I was a young man with unformed ideas. I threw out queries, suggestions, wondering all the time over everything, and to my astonishment, the ideas took like wildfire. People made a religion of them."

This is the account that appeared on the 19th August 1915 in the Baptist "Watchman-Examiner" in Washington D.C. (Q29/2:70). In 1922, friends in Los Angeles who knew her wrote an affidavit (L.A. affidavit) (MooreJ:79). In 1940, Prof. Bole released a letter he had received from her in the early 1920's (Bole letter) (MooreJ:86). These repeated most of the above account with some minor variations and additions, and we will refer to these later

I will agree with you, a lot of religion is poison at this point, because the leaders of these movements are wolves in sheeps clothing, who mislead massive amounts of people, with lie after lie. The freedom of choice is something endowed to us by the creator, but we are living in a world where we are indoctrinated left, right and center. And manipulated and brainwashed with man made laws, and politics that highjack the true beauty of the God's true messages and love for humanity. This is precisely why Jesus Christ despised the actions of the Pharisees- the religious leaders of the time. Because these were men who manipulated everybody and thwarted God's message in an effort for them to prosper, to puff out their chests and stroke their own ego's. It's why Jesus the 2 laws that fulfill the entire law were Love God and love others, plain and simple.
if the world followed these simple commands, we would know peace.

Nobody is forcing anyone to believe anything. I believe you have a right to believe evolution if you like. When has anyone tried to force you into believing creationism rather than just try and explain why some people do believe it.

This is a discussion forum where we discus our beliefs, are you saying creationists shouldn't be able to express their beliefs? Who has tried to force you into believing creationism (links please).

If anything, its the other way round, creationism is not allowed to be taught in schools. So who is forcing beliefs on who?

I also want to clarify when I say even when we seek God with faith and a seekers heart we will still never 100% fully know God- this applies to this struggle in this flesh and blood body, in this world. In the New heaven and new earth we will experience and fully know our creator!

We do share characteristics with animals but guess what, we live on the same planet, eat roughly the same foods, breath the same air, even made of the same stuff. Of course we share characteristics. Doesnt prove evolution at all. Science is also a poison...nuclear wepons and power, pollution in general is a by product of science. I actually love science, just trying to make a point. I do agree that religion is bad, always was. Even Jesus despised religion. Non believers use religion to criticise the Bible, yet the Bible is not religion.

If you go way way back we actually evolved from plants. If you go still further, we evolved from a star. If you go from the beginning, from the big bang, every thing in the universe evolved from a single dot of zero dimension of immense energy. In other words, we are all related, living and non-living. Even the chair your are sitting on is related to you as it consists of the same atom you are composed with.

the messiahs of science and their lay interpretation of what is true and what is false

No one is more qualified than scientists to determine what is true and false. Who do you suggest, some trailer park patriots on welfare?

Well, that's what the bishops of science claim: evolution is both a theory and a fact.

Is Evolution a Theory or a Fact?
It is both. But that answer requires looking more deeply at the meanings of the words "theory" and "fact."

www.nas.edu...

There is a difference between teaching and preaching evolution. Just look at the straw man that the academic brass used in the article.

The formal scientific definition of theory is quite different from the everyday meaning of the word. It refers to a comprehensive explanation of some aspect of nature that is supported by a vast body of evidence.

Many scientific theories are so well-established that no new evidence is likely to alter them substantially. For example, no new evidence will demonstrate that the Earth does not orbit around the sun (heliocentric theory), or that living things are not made of cells (cell theory), that matter is not composed of atoms, or that the surface of the Earth is not divided into solid plates that have moved over geological timescales (the theory of plate tectonics). Like these other foundational scientific theories, the theory of evolution is supported by so many observations and confirming experiments that scientists are confident that the basic components of the theory will not be overturned by new evidence. However, like all scientific theories, the theory of evolution is subject to continuing refinement as new areas of science emerge or as new technologies enable observations and experiments that were not possible previously.

Once upon a time there was a theory (Copernicus) that dared to destabilize a hard fact which was observed each and every day and still is: the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. The sun negotiates the distance between points E and W (W______E) and therefore the sun is moving. If you deny that, you better seek medical help.

After some time, geocentric theory became a fact and if you deny that, you better seek medical help too. Lol.

The point is, however, that the writer of the article said that the geocentric theory is not expected to be disturbed by other acquired data speaking against it. But the sun-orbiting earth alternative is no longer a theory. Unlike the evolution theory, it became a fact, because there is no observational data left that would cause a nasty surprise. So anyone can notice that there is a substantial difference between geocentric theory and evolution theory both developing into a fact as the Ph.D. claims in the article. The difference lies in the following.

Fossils Could Force Rethink of Human Evolution
news2.beyondgenes.com...

Can you imagine a similar headline saying Meteors Could Force Rethink of Geocentric Theory?

If the academicians feel like employing the same tactics as the literal creationists do to get ahead of them, then they conspiring against reason and common sense.

And where is the argument against the possibility of God having used something similar to the cosmic radiation to reprogram the DNA in the sex cells, thus altering the hereditary material to get the evolution of species going?

Well, he couldn't because God doesn't exist. That's a fact. It is a fact, because I, the omniscient Man, said so. Btw, we haven't observed God, and don't you think that we would miss, because we are well-educated and we know what to look for.

Well, keep looking. Lol.

Tremex, please don't make the mistake of believing you are omnipotent , even if you used that statement in a sarcastic tone. Man if very flawed, If you can't see the flaws in your own nature , the flaws in all of mankind on full display during a basic news broadcast than I would strongly encourage you to, give your head a shake and be honest with yourself when researching these topics. If man was not flawed, and over zealous/prideful of his own intelligence we would not see the carnal behaviour we see today in the world. We wouldn't see brilliant minds putting forth their effort to find out new ways to experiment on Jews in concentration camps. But the sad fact is some of the most brilliant minds this planet have ever seen have only further contributed to the downfall of humanity, this is because the devil will give you hidden knowledge to put you on a higher plane of understanding than most of humanity, but it won't come without a cost- your soul being highjacked.
Intelligence means nothing if it is not surrendered to the greatest intelligence in this universe- our creator God. Simply because without his direction, our sinful nature falls pray to the devil and his legion of demons and we become blinded and deceived into believing you have the truth, when actually you are only furthering the devil's agenda. It's the oldest trick in the book, everything is in the bible- if you would only give it a chance, you will see.
Genesis - 3:5- For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.". The fruit Adam and Eve ate was trivial in itself, it was the "Principle" and act of disobedience of God's words that led to the fall that we are all suffering from now.
If you ever watch this documentary with an open heart, you will never look at the world the same ever again. You will see how the New age movement, communism, atheism, socialism, evolution, and any attempt to find God without looking to Jesus Christ is all being led by the delusion that Satan blinds people by

I never said or even suggested that I'm "omnipotent;" I said that Man sometimes behaves as if he were "omniscient." Actually I made a mistake in my last post: instead of heliocentric theory, I wrote "geocentric theory," and now I see that God reminded me of it:

You know that Ge is the Greek goddess of the earth (hence "geocentric"), and the earth is the 3rd planet from the sun and the 5th largest. Now my eyes "have been opened" and I realized that I made a mistake by mixing up the opposite theories. But I'm not in no way forcing this momentary interpretation on your traditional one.

My point was that evolutionary science shouldn't forward its theory the way the Church advertizes its faith.
